Craftsman Briggs & Stratton Generator, Elec Start 10 HP —

I purchased this generator in Indiana in 2004. I realize it only had a 90 days store return policy. However my wife and I live in Tennessee and haven't need the generator until the February 5th tornado. When I went to get it out of the box. It was damage and I was unable to use it. I took it to the store in Bowling Green, Ky which is the nearest store to us. They told us we had had it to long. The receipt and the box was all intact. All you had to do was look at the box and the generator and you could easily tell that it had never been used. The only thing left was for us to order parts for the $649.99 Generator which I do not know how much that will be. My advise to anyone, check your merchandise before you leave the store. The box was not damage, however the generator had broken parts. From a very disappointed customer. Thank You
