Pretty good

Plenty of power. 2 minor issues. Then plunger head is slightly smaller than the calk tube, and with all of the power it causes the tube to leak at the plunger. Old calk tubes and improper power adjust can cause this. When you release the trigger, all the tension on the tube is also released. A manual... read full review »

Craftsman C3 19.2 volt Caulk Gun Reviews

After suffering through a 5 caulk tube job layout (finger cramps), I vowed to grab the Craftsman 19.2 volt caulk gun on the next C. sale. This ended up a great $30 investment...should have got it when it came out 3 years ago!!

It is a little heavy and awkward, but oh how nice does it lay down the beads! The volume dial control sets the flow I need perfectly...slow stream for the tight spots...ragging river for an all out assault. Re-caulking my large double sided walk-in shower stall was actually Fun...3 quick and easy tubes gone with no finger\hand cramps...Amazing!

For a dab of caulking here...

Talk about ease of use, this has taken the work out of caulking.  I use this to caulk my house, my driveway, my concrete, my kitchen seams.  You can go all day and not have the finger and forearm cramp from using the old mechanical.  Once you get the hang of this, you will never want any other caulking gun.

You just put the tube in, press the plunger into the tube, pop on the C3 battery, adjust your flow rate (recommendation: start slow and increase as you go to find the right setting for you), and away you go.

Nice little gun

This is a great caulk gun that is a must have for anyone wanting to tackle any sort of an "at home" project like installing windows or doors.  I got to use one owned by a friend of mine while we were putting in some doors as a present for a mutual friend.  The beading with this gun was even and steady.  It took a little practice on a scrap piece, but handling single dabs here and there is easy once you get a feel for how much this caulk gun puts out with the initial trigger pull.  This handled the caulk around the windows and doors and also handled a couple of tubes of liquid nails as we were...

Just amazing, wish I would have had something like this about 9 years ago.  Purchased and used immediately on my driveway and ran about 16 tubes of caulk in a little more than an hour.  Perfect bead everytime and I love the variable speed settings.  Nothing negative to say at this time other than it is a little big, so may be tough to get into tight spaces if you really need to.  Every handyman should have one!

Great for tough jobs.

This was a great purchase especially for tough caulking jobs like self-leveling concrete crack filler.  It takes a little practice to guage the power and speed but once you get the hang of it large caulking jobs become much easier. You do give up some control so be careful with precision jobs.

finger and time saver!!!

I purchased this because I was doing crown molding and trim work around 3 doors, a window, a bar and an air conditioner. I used it to fill the gaps between the trim and the walls with painters caulk. It was an absolute life saver. not only did it save me from having to squeeze a caulk gun several hundred times but it was way faster. It also laid a perfect size bead every time. The adjustment to control the speed was very nice too since the gaps were uneven. I could just turn it up a little when I got to an area where the gap was bigger. I'm so pleased that I'm buying my brother, who does construction,... read full review »

I purchased this for one large job and it worked great, but I tried it for a smaller job and it was overkill.

Really Pleased

I purchased one of these for my own usage a few months ago. I was so pleased with how well it worked (especially how the caulk stops flowing the second you release the trigger) that the one I purchased recently was for my brother-in-law. I don't think he's used it yet, but he's got a bunch of windows to install in his new garage, and this tool will make doing the caulking while on a ladder so much safer and easier.

caulk gun

caulk gun works perfect but it didn't come with a battery or a charger. Both are essential but weren't included.

I love this thing. Soo much caulking and this makes it soo easy for me. Saves my hands and helps me get done quick. The 19.2 volt batter is perfect I think for this tool.

looking for projects to caulk

great product, it is actually fun to use. I'm looking for things to caulk. after you release the trigger, the caulk retracts back just a little so there's no mess. no more painful hands and fingers.don't be afraid to purchase this caulk gun, it's worth it.

Won't use a manual gun ever agian

Creates a very smooth application Start on the slowest speed until you get familiar with it as the higher speeds can push out alot of caulk and make a big mess in a hurry.
