After seeing a review of someone removing lug nuts off of a full size pickup, I decided to purchase one for myself. I tried removing the lug nuts off of my small import car and it wouldn't remove one of them. I still use it for nuts and bolts instead of a 3/8 ratchet. It will remove those quickly but it isn't for the hard to remove nuts and bolts.
I purchased this item to remove auto lug nuts due to shoulder injury. Could not loosen any on my vehicle even after loosening by hand and retorqueid to 85 ft/lbs ( minimum factory specs) with a calibrated torque wrench and trying again. The battery was just fully charged and still would not budge the nuts. It sound tough, andd is very rugged looking and heavy giving the impression it will do a great job. Don't be fooled, It does not live up to or any where close to the 200 Ft/lb. rating is has. If you need a battery powered unit, check somewhere else and try it before you buy it. This one does...
read full review »I have about two dozen 19.2v cordless power tools and I have three pneumatic impact wrenches so I really didn't need another one, but the idea of having one that I can take to a junk yard, a friend's, or even in my garage without an air compressor really made me consider this. I don't like to buy stuff I already have in one form or another, but this tool is rated a 5/5 star. The c3 impact wrench went on sale and that was the trigger to make me purchase one. After I bought it, it sat for about two months in my office. I really didn't think it was going to be that powerful, it was mainly...
read full review »i really like this cordless wrench. nothings better then something that is cordless. being cordless just makes everything easier. i also like that this is not really expensive. if you look in the long run you will definetly got your moneys worth out of this tool.
i also like the fact that it's pretty powerful. how could you ever get anything done if you have a weak tool that you are using. i like to use this all the time because it torques over 100 lbs. which that is great. it is also very light which is a big factor.
Great product, well worth 100 bucks.
It seems a bit pricey and I was hesitant on buying one at first. But it is definitely worth every last penny! It is so helpful and so much better than those old-school drills that you have to do yourself. This saves so much time and energy. I love it!
I picked this tool because I wanted to be able to remove tires from my vehicles without having to drag out the pneumatic wrench and hose. I was a little wary because my very big, very expensive, and very heavy, Milwaukee !8 volt impact wrench has not been able to do this. I also bought the Li-ion battery and charger kit to go with it. The tool removes the lug nuts with ease. It is great for my use. I Could not be more pleased. And at half of the weight and cost of the Milwaukee it is much easier to use and afford. Also of note is that the C3 system is much less expensive than compatible...
read full review »Would not remove wheel lug nuts even fully charged. Comfortable to use just needs more torque.
Best tool I have....use it all the time...I have 2 batteries so that I can always keep one fully charged.
The tool has a great overall feel and has plenty of torque to break even the toughest bolts loose. So glad that I bought it. Has been much appreciated countless times already in only one week.
Strongly recommended.
PS: love that it shares batteries with all my other power tools
I bought this Impact, it is great.. I just removed a flexplate(auto), or flywheel(manual) on car, used my Snap On 17mm socket with Craftsman Impact Wrench.
It had no problem..... I have the 19.2 Drill and Impact driver too.....
One thing, when are you guys*Sears, are going to make a 3/8 drive impact wrench......(19.2 v) If that happens that would be very good....

Lots of power, light and easy to use. I rarely use air anymore. I recommend the lithium ion batteries, they are a must for this wrench.
