I purchased with item on sale ($36) since I was looking for a useful car tire inflator and one that was portable. I really liked all the features. I had a half charged battery to start with and was able to top off up three tires on my car (from 26psi to 35psi) before I had to switch to another battery that had about 85% charge on it. I finished my car and moved to my van and finished the job of topping off all my tires to 36psi (cold). I did notice that you had to set the auto-cutoff pressure setting about 1.5psi higher such that when the tool cuts off, the pressure is what I really wanted (other reviewer noted the same). Since I don't have a digital gauge, I can't speak to the tools PSI accuracy. I would suggest that you reset the gauge every time you use it (even if the display says "0.0") to try to make it more accurate. One improvement Sears could make would be to make the tire chuck out of brass. I would pay more money for that improvement. The tool did get very warm after 8 tires being topped off but seemed very capable of handling that kind of workload. I would likely give it some time (20min) to cool off after inflating 4 tires before moving on to another car in the family. Overall, I believe I got a pretty good tool for the money and I only hope that with the Craftsman name on it that it will last me a long time for that is what I expect from Sears with the Craftsman line.
