I have a friend that owns a motorcycle shop and when I saw this tool at his shop I had to have it. Its so convenient to take anywhere and is quite accurate. The people that say you have to inflate to about 2lb psi more than it reads are correct in that it does not account for the pressure in the actual... review »

Being that I am extremely conscious over the safety of myself and my passengers I am always checking the tire PSI in my cars on a weekly basis. I saw this tool and thought that it would be a convenient thing to have to fill up tires that have lost a couple PSI throughout the weeks. I have a Craftsman... review »

I have a Honda Pilot with a TPMS that's regularly nagging me to add air to one or more tires. I read the previous reviews for this product and decided to give it a chance. It works great, inflating an SUV tire from 28-29 psi to 32 psi in about a minute. I don't know how many tires can be topped off using a single battery, but I know it's at least four!

I purchased my inflator as I have most of the C3 family of 19.2V cordless tools. I just purchased an Adult TRIKE, I utilized the inflator to air the TRIKE tires to 60PSI. I was surprised how well this compressor works. It took a little more than 30 seconds to air each tire. allowed time to inspect the tire as it was pumping up set the auto function to cut off at 62 psi. Kinda like the watched pot dont boil! I would highly recommend college students to have this with the lithium ion battery/charger. SMALL powerful, DADS it will make a good present. I also have a air horn for the TRIKE and the inflator... review »

I like the C3 tools and this one meets my needs really well. It is easy to use, accurate and will allow you to keep your tires at the proper inflation level in just a few minutes per week or at whatever interval you choose. Yes, it is noisy, but it is a small air compressor so you will have some noise. It comes with enough attachments that you should be able to inflate about anything you have. The built in digital gauge does agree with a commercial quality air pressure gauge that I first used to check its accuracy. When the trigger is released the gauge does go down about 1to 2 PSI, but the reading... review »

I'm an avid motorcycle rider and road bicycle rider. Each require fairly frequent tire pressure maintenance. You're familiar with the typical process: lug pump to bike, over inflate, check pressure, release excess pressure, check pressure, oops over inflate again, check pressure, and so on. Now I just attach the inflator, watch the digital display, and go for a ride. This product is so good that it gave me the confidence to switch all of my DeWalt cordless tools to the Craftsman C3 system. I'm thinking of buying a second one because I don't know what I'd do without it now.

The Inflator works very well but the pressure gauge isn't accurate. One has to put about two PSI more in the tire (according to the Inflator Gauge) in order to inflate the tire to the desired pressure.

Great item for every job--car tires to kids toys. Digital readout helpful--no need for a tire gauge. I recommend.

This is the best tool I own. Works great! As previously mentioned, you do need to go 2 psi over when filling tires, but then it is perfect. Very easy to use. Convenience is the best as it is so difficult to find a gas station that either has an air compressor that works or you need to pay to use it. Everyone should own one. Keeping tires at the correct psi helps first with safety for all and then increases longevity of your tires. Great for bikes, balls, mattresses ... any inflatables. My kids are my first love ... then this lol (don't tell my wife .. oh wait, I'm not married! :)

i ordered my inflator at sears with a salesmans assistance. they were out of stock. what i didn't know, because the salesman didn't tell me, the display didn't mention, nor did i have a box to read such, was it does not come with a charger, which costs as much as the inflator, nor a battery, which i can't even find the price of. so if you don't already use the C3 19.2 battery system, this inflator will actually cost around $100.00!!! also, if you ride bikes, the lock feature won't work over 40lbs. my tires use 65lbs, my shocks 200lbs! mine will be returned tomorrow.

I have had this handy little item now for over a year and have used it ALOT. You can add 10psi to 4 tires on a fully charged battery before it's drained, plenty to keep a normal vehicle at the proper inflation. I've not used it on a flat tire (just deflated), but I can imagine that you can air that puppy up too! Best purchase I've made for my shop in years.

PROS: shamefully convenient, great digital pressure gauge, long battery life. CONS: a little bit slow but still comparable to most 12volt compact air compressors. don't expect it to inflate a swimming pool - but works perfectly for tires and smaller inflatable items, which is all i expected. do yourself a favor and get one !!

Finally a product that you can use all year, take on trips, to car shows and the kids play dates! This is a HOME RUN in every sense of the word. It will not inflate a portable Disney World, but for most other needs and to keep the car tires perfect, this is the ticket.

The product is excellent. It does what it needs to do although there are only two issues. 1. The gauge is not accurate when pumping air in and when not pumping, there is a 1 PSI difference. 2. There is no release mechanism to remove air while the hose is still clamp.
