“Excellent drill, great value.”

I have used this drill for at least 3 years and find it outstanding. It's great for what I use it for, which is projects around the house. The price is very reasonable. I like having two batteries so that I can always complete the job and the flashlight is nice too, although I really haven't needed it....

“Great Drill/Driver, the WorkLight is delicate”

First, I should tell you that I am a big fan of the Craftsman C3 system of tools. I am a home-owner and use my tools in routine home and garden projects. My tools are used lightly rather than the daily abuse of a real craftsman; so my review is in the context of home use. My Dad always said, have the right tool for the right job and C3 really helps me with that. Having portable, battery operated tools are helpful getting the job done quickly and easily. I have a couple of rechargers wall mounted and plenty of batteries around the house; grab a tool and battery and your working.

Craftsman DieHard Cordless Drill/Driver with Light is a great buy, I have used the drill many times and the light has come in handy. I can't say anything bad about this set the price was right, and I love that it came with 2 battery's so you can charge one while you are using the other one. battery life is long I have never drained one that fully charged during the time i was using the drill. LOL looing over to the side it sas Cons and you can select "Perfect for any job in your home." I think that should be a pro. anyway it is right is perfect for any job in your home. the drill has and LED light...

“Excellent Drill”

I use the drill for all the around home projects, anything I can find the reason to use the drill. So far I have had the drill for about a month and love it, very great drill to my standards and for the price it is a must. I recommend this drill to anyone around it is excellent.

“I love it!”

Great set! Light bulb lasts a long time, just don't drop it on concrete from the roof ceiling. Bought two bulbs in case I needed one in an emergency. That was 3 years ago, still have the extra bulb. Love the led light on the drill!!! Puts the light while drilling or screwing. Love the clutch and the fact that the auto stop when changing out bits. no turning of the clamp on bits. sturdy and long lasting. I can usually use this drill all day and not change out the battery.

“Good Product”

The flashlight is great. Bright, reasonably angle adjustable, Well balanced. I've already discarded the plastic case and have removed the drill handle and will probably never use it. Two hands on the drill work just as well and the handle often gets in the way when using and storing drill. I am a big fan of the 19.2 tools and this is no exception. Lots of power, well geared for good torque, and, thought not light, easy to use with one hand for reasonable periods. The single sleeve chuck is a minor concern. I'm used to the double sleeve chucks and am not sure if this will provide the same "grip"... read full review »

“Buy it”

This drill is amazing. There is plenty of power to the drill, the battery lasts quite a long time, and the torque setting works great. I use my drill all the time and I can't live without it. Normally I shop around to find a good deal, but for this item its already a good price and you aren't going to find a better drill.

“Good drill - light not LED”

I had the predecessor to this drill for 3 years, with constant industrial use it is still working but the batteries are fading & it makes more sense to buy a drill package than just batteries. I'm sure this will be an equal replacement. The work light, though, is NOT an LED like the listing & box claim, it has a filament bulb so I don't expect that to last.

“What a superb tool!”

My February project was to install 72 feet of metal shelving in my study. Dozens and dozens of 2.5-inch wood screws had to be sturdily installed into heavy joists near the ceiling and into 2x4 studs behind the wall. Each screw needed a clean clearance hole through plaster and a true guide hole deep into wood. (Here in Earthquake Country you don't fake an installation like this with plastic plaster anchors.) Unless I wanted to give myself a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome, it was time to buy a power screwdriver. I was wary. My last purchase of a power screwdriver had been a waste of money. “Power isn't the problem”

This drill is powerful coming in at just over 100lbs less torque than some of the highest priced drills, not bad for a hundred bucks. Except, the first one that I bought overheated while using a brand new hole saw on a solid wood door slab (I say new hole saw so you know that it was sharp). I returned that one through the extended warranty. After about a year the second one has issues, I went to use it one day and it started making serious knocking noises in low speed and skipping at high speed, not sure what the problem is. “Great purchase”

This is not my first 19.2v puchase so I knew what to expect from craftsman, very reliable and hardworking tools. The drill is perfect for all jobs big or small and the battery holds up pretty good. The light also comes in pretty handy. I am happy with my craftsman corldless set.
