I really enjoyed playing with this truck running circles around the other remote control cars we have but when it comes to finding parts forget it you cant find them. I tried Sears Parts nope so take care cause if you mess something up forget getting a part.

I bought this not expecting much, but I was wrong. This thing is fast and durable. Battery life isn't the best and the tires wear out pretty quickly.
This is the best truck ever. Range is great, Speed is great, just a fun toy to use. I have used it so much that I have worn the tires out. Even though there is a replacement part list there ARE NO replacement parts available through Sears. So now I have a great toy I cant use. We need Sears to make the parts available.
I love this little truck. I have a few other RC cars and I hardly ever play with them since the batteries are never charged. With this on my 19.2 batteries are always charged. The only bad part is I drain mt batteries playing with the truck and then when there's work to be done I have to wait for a charge :) I do have the intermittent throttle problem sometimes but I think its my batteries. I've rammed the curb pretty hard a few times accidentally so I hope this doesn't effect that .
I'm trying to find a used one so I can adapt the guts to work in my off road RC truck.
I have a bunch of the C3 tools that I love and lots of batteries and I could not pass on this truck!
I thought that the batteries would only last 10-20 minutes on a charge but they keep on going. With a couple of batteries I could sit there and drive this guy around for a couple of hours at full throttle it seems.
The range is great, the truck zips around pretty fast and the steering is quite responsive.
Like other reviews, I'm voting for an off road version and maybe a different body as my wife wants one now so we can race!

I've been buying Craftsman a long time and got to know the tools from my grandfather who was a do all private contractor going way back. He was born in 1899. Somewhere along the line he got hooked on Craftsman. He passed it on. I've been buying most of the C3 tools. I'll probably end up with them all, just a couple left to get right now until more come out. It was great to see this truck in the Craftsman Club catalog. I went to get it and never thought about a Father's Day sale and got a fantastic price. This truck is so fast I go a block up the road to the Junior High and run it in their parking...

Very impressed by performance and design. Durability a little questionable but price makes up the difference in lack there of.
Highly recommend. I would like to see other body's in the future and possibly other makes like an off road version as this one will not perform on anything but a hard surface. Very pleased overall!!
This truck is sweet! It handles well, is fast, and nearly impossible to flip. The charge lasts forever. I finally have a reason to get a Lithium battery. The only problem I am having is with the frequencies. I don't know if it is my neighborhood or something else but sometimes it doesn't want to go. It may be overheating as well? Gotta order more freq chips. GET THE $9 REPLACEMENT WARRANTY! You cant beat it. If it breaks within 2 years you get a new one!
I'm very happy with the purchase of this truck. It is very well made, much better than toy store quality RC cars. It's almost hobby quality with spring suspension and real rubber tires. Truck is very fast and charge lasts a long time (at least an hour,) which is five or six times longer than most electric cars run. Now I'm hoping there will be an off road version or some other fun use of the C3 batteries.
Got the C3 truck that runs off my C3 batteries. This is a great idea for me. I have so much invested in the system and now I can use this for fun. This rc truck is so fast and very durable. It has taken many bumps and bruises. A great decision for my C3 system. I have the drills, saws and now the truck. What is next?
The first one I drove extremely hard with no chance to cool down, I have two craftsman 18 volt (they work too) and a 19.2 volt battery. It flipped on a turn and went about 4 feet in air unintended at a full speed turn on semirough blacktop roadway, so be careful. Radio Range is Great! Time of play is Greatest! My son Noah left his video games behind for this one. Need more crystals (family of five). Oh' need Off Road version. Don't forget to get the Replacement Warranty which is crazy to offer on a RC vehicle, Craftsman Won on this one! Travels about 18 mph. Digital tuning on steering and reverse/forward....

What a great fathers day present.
Loads of fun....my son just waits on the sidelines for his turn at it, had it for a couple of months, he is still waiting.
This truck is very fast, responds well and the battery compartment holds the battery in place very well, like if it was a power tool. I love it!
