“Craftsman sawstake a licking and keep on running.”
I'm here to tell you that the Sears Craftsman circular saw will stand up to just about anything. I've had mine for approximately 30 years and it just now bit the dust. I have used it over the years in rainy weather, but under cover, snow, the dead of winter and the extreme heat we have here in Kansas. The saw had become noisy over the years and I knew it would'nt be long. I have used it to cut wood, masonry, steel, aluminium and rocks and it still continued to run.
Today I had to replace the trusty old saw. Hopefully this one performs as well. The replacement is a Craftsman as well, but with a little more power. It has 15 amps and a no load of 6500 rpm's and its nice and shiney.
