Best $25 I spent in a long time. They cut great and make a tough job easy. My other top quality tool (non-Craftsman) cost a lot more and the handle snapped when I was cutting a branch. I will never buy another non-Craftsman hand tool. I recommend if you are looking for a tool like this, to stop looking and go get your job done. This tool will handle it. You will not find a better one. And it comes with the life-time guarantee. Cant beat that.

We have gone through many loppers as we have been cutting down many trees on our property. Some can not handle the thickness of the branches and others have just broken or dulled from use. These Craftsman Loppers have done the job and then some. Cutting through thicker branches like they were butter and continuing to work time after time. I will not go back to any other brand of lopper as these have done the trick and the whole family can use them with ease.

I don't have a lot of pruning to do in my yard, so in the past I just borrowed pruners. But my rose bushes were looking pretty scraggly, so when I saw these on sale, I went ahead and bought them, because they are Craftsman (lifetime warranty) and it had very positive reviews.

I haven't used them a whole lot yet, but it did cut through my extra thick (1.5 inch) rose branches with just a little extra effort. The loppers feel sturdy and I'm confident they'll last a long time. Very happy with my purchase.

With all the rain we have received the last two summers, the trees and horse weeds have taken over my yard.  I used an old pair of loppers and was struggling to cut the little trees, so I asked our maintenance man at work where I could buy some good loppers.  He told me, "Sear."  I felt really silly after all I shop at Sears regularly for appliances, garden equipment and so forth.   He even reminded me of the Lifetime Warranty.  What a deal!  I have used them more than once, and I haven't acquired the usual blisters on my fingers.  These are great, and I would highly recommend them to everyone. ...

Lopper no Flopper

Bought this lopper on the reputation of the Craftsman name and it didn't disappoint. This lopper is light, sturdy, and powerful. This tool cut through thick shrub branches will ease. I was amazed at how little torque was needed when cutting. This is a must have for anyone looking to do-it-yourself yard work.

Perfect!

I borrowed my son's lopper to remove some low hanging limbs from my oak trees.  I was amazed at how easily I was able to cut fairly good sized limbs with it.  When I returned it to him I immediately came to Sears website and ordered this one.  I love it!  I can't believe how easily I can trim things in my yard that would have been nearly impossible for me to do before.  I highly recommend this product!

My old loppers were heavier and bulkier.  These are lightweight and easy to use.  At first I had some doubts about them as their slighter build made me think they may not be as efficient as my old ones.  Their maneuverability and lightweight construction allow me to work longer than I have before, therefore getting more accomplished than I previously would have.  The sharp blade cuts through branches and vines easily.  Things had gotten pretty overgrown here lately, but this tool has made it easy to regain control of my yard.  I like being able to regain control of the yard on my own, leaving...

I used these, only once so far, cutting a trail through the woods, and they worked extremely well.  The branches never stood a chance.

A good value. I bought this product for $20. The quality is good and it should last for a long time. Excellent for home use but professionals would want a nicer alternative; these could be tiring to use for large jobs.

Very solid lopper. Built to last.

Very easy to handle lopper. I was able to clean out all of the bushes on the side of my house with this. It easily cut through small to medium sized branches with ease.

Powerful and sharp

These work great. Plenty of leverage and sharpness to cut branches of all sizes. It's light weight make it easy to use as well.

Well, after 20 years, I finally replaced the lopper I used to have.  I got tired of using a bow saw all the time.

Anyway, this compound action lopper is wonderful.  the first time I used it on a branch about 1" thick I thought the branch was rotted away because it cut thru it like it wasn't even there.

It's balanced well, operates smoothly, and cuts like no tomorrow.  Can't ask for much more from this kind of tool.

Highly recommended.

I bought these during an online only sale and picked up in store.  I was a little skeptical by the picture but was pleasantly surprised when I picked up in the store.  These are not some cheap flimsy loppers, they feel solid and cut smooth.  I've only had for a week or so but so far I am very happy with this purchase.  My only regret is not picking up a pair sooner!

Craftsman Compound Action Bypass Loppers are great for a quick snip/trim around your yard and many others.  I have a lot of trees, these are great for prunning.  They are great if you have to remove overgrown landscape.  I also use these to cut up smaller branches for firewood.  The handles are made out of carbon steel which is a major plus over any type of wood.  The rest is made out of aluminum, which is another plus over steel.  The Loppers have a 1 1/2 inch cutting capacity, you can squeeze a little more out of them if need be.  The ergonomic handles and rubber handle grips make for...
