Shortly after the 19.2 combo packages came on the market I purchased one consisting of the drill, a trim saw, a reciprocating saw, a light, a brad nailer/stapler, two batteries and a charger. The Craftsman cordless drill has been the major workhorse of the combo kit. I have used it for drilling with paddle bits up to 1 and 1/8 inch, driving screws in decks, and installing metal roofs and metal barn sidings. What a great job it has done. Long lasting power to get you through!
I have used every brand of drill, including the most expensive name brands on every kind of project imaginable and I have never found that the craftsman drill was not up to the challenge.
The 19.2 Volt battery packs enough power for just about any application.
My 1/2" drill worked great . My deck screws were a snap. After a few months I started to loose battery life. Finally after about 5 months it would not charge at all.
This drill package is a great deal. You probably wont use the right angle drill very much but when you do you will be super excited you had it. Working between rafters is a great example for instance! The battery life is great in both and the 1/2" drill is powerful enough to pull itself outta my hands if im not paying full attention to it.
You can't beat these cordless drills for the money. Compared to the big name brands that cost 2 or 3 times as much, these drills are just as good. You can't beat Craftsman for quality or price.
These Craftsman drills have been a great asset in my workshop. The 3/8" capacity is a little limiting, but the power and torque and the variable speed allows for low speeds when starting holes and high speeds for drilling. The clutch system allows me to match the power needed to the job on hand. The keyless chuck allows for easy and quick bit changes. The electric brake makes it easy to stop when the trigger is released. A comfortable handle is always a plus.
This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. This drill is easy to use, has good power and battery lasts a long time. I have used it on numerous projects arount the house - even some major repair projects and it has held up very well. The value for the price is excellent and I recommend it very highly.
Best drill I ever purchased. I use this tool more than my corded. Has the power and torque to do almost anything. My go to tool. Love it.
Another great gift for my Husband, this drill has all the power and torque a man needs to fix anything! Great battery life, fast charging, ease of use, a good investment.
I've had this drill for years and absolutely punish it. It has held up to drops, hours of continuous drilling, and everything I've thrown at it. I would buy it again in a minute, but dont' have to, because my old one is still working as hard as the day I bought it.
I love my craftsman 19 volt cordless drill! It is durable and has the right amount of power for my needs. I do alot of repairs around the house and enjoy building things. This drill is the best one I have owned thus far!
