Craftsman Craftsman 1/2 HP Premium Chain Drive —
Great, and easy to install yourself! Just make sure you read the instructions and everything should go fine. A little electrical knowledge is advantageous, too. I especially like the feature of its maunual release lever so if you ever forget you had the slide bolt/plate in the door for security when you went away for a while, you come back and try to open the garage and it won't open, just pull the release and the door comes down. Press the garage door opener button on the wall and the chain draws the arm to the opener. Press the button again and the chain runs the arm back to meet the release and arm. Then, you are all set, provided, of course, you pulled the slide bolt/plate.
Plus, the sensors are sensitive. good for protecting the door coming down on an animal, child, you, or an object.
The only negative is that because it is a chain it is a little loud. But, metal is always louder than rubber, so this was expected.
