I really love these Craftsman family of folding knives. For a while, I was stocking over 5 flat carts of boxes of tools per day and did a LOT of opening of taped boxes.
I wore two folding utility knives. Sort of like the gun slingers of the old West wore two "six-shooters".
The left one was red, with a hooked linoleum blade in it (never damaged any merchandise with that kind of blade).
The right one was black, with a standard straight-bladed utility knife for slicing up the card board.
The trick for a left-handed folding utility knife is removing the belt clip and moving the pin to the opposite side of the blade holder.
I could open either left or right knife with a quick flip of either wrist.
