It'll last a lifetime.

It's well built, and since it folds up so easily I'll have no great trouble storing it out of the weather, which is the greatest source of wear and tear.  Noisy when you hit bumps, and I wish it had a 4x8 deck to do even more chores.  Expensive compared to alternatives, but better built too.

1 star

I drove one home, It was terrible, very loud, shaky not stable at all, and too small. Drove it back to return it the next day, there's 15% restocking charge, it would have cost me about $200 for one day, I was not happy to learn that, I decided to keep it, I wish I didn't, I only had it for a month it... read full review »

Safe, Secure, and Smiling

This is the first trailer I ever owned and glad I spent the money. What got my attention was the folding feature. I have a two car garage and space is tight. However the 28" width lets the trailer easily sit next to my vehicle without any problem. If you have a push mower in your garage, the width is the same when you include the side discharge. Three things to be aware of and have done since owning the trailer. 1.) Buy an extra tire. (I bought mine from the manufacturer, and mounted the spare on the side of the trailer using a u-bolt kit .) 2.) The trailer does not balance itself freestanding... read full review »

Solid trailer

The fold out process is not as simple as I had hoped and the trailer makes a lot of noise (at least when empty), but it appears to be well built. I am going to try to quiet it down by adding some weather stripping to a few spots. I had the trailer delivered and it came promptly. I had no problem at all registering it here in Michigan with the certificate of origin that was provided and a copy of the e-mail Sears sent me as my receipt. All they really wanted to know is if I had paid the Michigan sales tax.

Good trailer

I got this trailer several months ago when they had a Craftsman Club sale on it for $999. Great price and I have not been disappointed. I ordered it online and they delivered it right to my house. It is a quite noisy pulling it around town (tail gates bounce around), but it is great how I can fold it up and put it away in the garage. Good overall design. Licensing it here in CO was a bit of a pain. I had to go to my local Sears and get them to sign the certificate of ownership that came with the trailer. Of course, it was all new to them. They had to call Sears.com and find out what they should... read full review »

Almost Perfect!

I have only had the trailer a week, and it has gotten a lot of use. It's a bit noisy on the city streets, but you can't tell it's there on the highway. I highly recommend this trailer. I live in WI and didn't have any trouble registering it, however I only titled it. I didn't try to get a license plate for it because I will not be going out of state. The only drawback is that the trailer appears to balance itself when folded in the pictures. This is not the case.. You will have to manually hold the trailer and prop it up with something. Otherwise, great quality trailer!

Nice Trailer. Nightmare in PA to register!

Well constructed trailer. Was a license nightmare in PA. Dealer never signed the certificate of origin. Dealer had no clue what the dealer number should be. In PA that number is assigned by Harrisburg DMV. It is not the Sears store number. You must have it signed and the proper number or you will wait a month to get your plate and pay lots of extra DMV fees all because nobody knows what the number is. Bottom line if you purchase in PA ask them to have the certificate ot origin signed and the proper dealer number before you leave the store.

Great little trailer

Have to admit that it bounces some, but I'm real impressed with the design and quality. Trailer is a bit small, but it still hauls my 25HP Sears DLT2000 mower perfectly. And I was able to buy it while it was on sale.

Great for Winter!

With Winter vastly approaching, I am so happy that my Craftsman Fold-Up Trailer will not get ruined in the rain and snow. I don't use my trailer much durning the fall/winter months because of the weather, so having a trailer that I can roll into my garage and keep out of the elements is brilliant! And when Spring arrives my trailer will be in perfect condition ready for the first trip with the leaves to the dump.

Solid & Easy to Store

This trailer is made of solid steel and looks fantastic. It's perfect for hauling around tractors, ATV's, etc. The front and back walls of the trailer come off to become ramps, and you can fold up the trailer and just roll it into your garage or under your porch, whatever (you could even bring it through a normal door). If you need to haul around normal stuff like lawn equipment, appliances, etc, this is the trailer for you.

nifty trailer

Sears in NY had all the required papers to register the trailer with DMV. Perfect for everything from mattress's to fertlizer. Yearly inspections are a bother, but thats government not the trailer. Buy this trailer it will save you money in ways you haven't thought of yet. Best of all its bigger then a pickup truck bed and two feet lower to the ground.

Not for California

I owned this trailer for 19 days till I went to the local DMV office to register it. Everything went fine untill they said I needed a special Dealer Report of Sale form from Sears. I went back to Sears to have the Origination Certificate signed and to get this form but they had no idea what I was talking about. The store manager called Sears.com...they had no idea. The manager called Sears Corp. offices and...they had no idea. Long story short, The Main Sears offices told the store manager that this is a non-registerable item that should have never been sold to someone in California. I had to go... read full review »
