Not bad for the price

I bought this nailer because the price was good. The first time I used it was to frame in a closet for a customer. I used 3 1/4" nails. WOW! This gun has a kick. Poor choice

For a short time it worked well and then it started only shooting 1 out of about every 7 nails. We've sent it in to be repaired 3 different times and it still doesn't work. Sometimes, sometimes not.

I purchased a Craftsman Framing Nailer to work on my fencing project over a year ago.  The magnesum material for the housing helps keep the weight down, especially for over-head work or lugging this around.  The body is durable even if bumped or banged around a little bit.   My model is the "aluminum" color and not the black finish, but it is the same construction and features.

I found my Craftsman Nailer isn't always so fond of the nails with plastic straps.  I've used sizes from 2 1/2 up to 3 1/2 inches in this gun.  Sometimes, but not always, the plastic would jam up in the nailer shoot...

I have used this nailer for a variety of building projects and it seems to be doing just fine. The price is good and the quality lives up to the craftsman name.

Feed

The Magazine Nail follower is made of plastic and breaks very easily where the pin goes through it if care is not taken when releasing the follower.
