I absolutely LOVE this garage door opener. It is so quiet, I could hardly hear it going up or down. When I walk into the garage - the lights go on - so I don't have to worry about leaving a light on in my garage in case I forget to the lights off. The digital temperature gage is an added feature I love. It is good to know that if I lose power, there is a battery back up.
I plan to buy another one for the other side. I would strongly recommend this product to my friends and family. If you need a garage door opener, don't hesitate to buy this one. It is an awesome product!!!!
I ordered this opener on-line with store pick-up for $189. I placed the order and got a text 15 minutes later telling me it was ready. This opener has been great so far. It is super quiet and very powerful. My family room connected to my garage and my wife cannot hear it open when I get home. With two babies at home taking naps, this is a plus! It even has the power to lift my old wooden garage door that I am sure is not very balanced.

The DC motor allows the unit to vary its speed during the opening/closing process. By starting and stopping slower the door doesn't jar so much; this in combination with the belt drive makes for a very quiet opening/closing and must cut back on actual door maintenance costs.
The battery back-up gives great peace of mind.
Came with everything I needed.
Bought this a few months ago and it is great. No longer have to worry about the children loosing their keys as they have a code they can just punch it. when you walk in the garage the light comes on with any movement so no fumbling for a switch. It is very quiet, you can barely hear when the it opens when you are in the house. I would recommend this unit!
The garage door opener was easy to install. It came with everything I needed to get started. I was able to remove my existing screw drive garage door opener and use the same wiring for the new Craftsman one. This garage door has great instructions which made it really easy to install. It's packed full of features that my old garage door opener didn't have and the even with all these features, it still used the same wires. A nice opener with all the options you need. The install was not bad and was able to use existing wiring from old opener to cut the time even more. Quiet and powerful this is a sweet addition to the garage.The motion sensor light option is very welcome when your hands are full and you don't have to hunt for the light switch.Overall a very nice unit.
I like the garage door opener and it wasnt to terrible to get in. I put this on my detached garage and the only thing that I don't like is that we didn't get a wireless remote for inside the house. This is an easy fix if you want to buy another remote or run a wire into the house. I do like how quiet it is and it seems like good workmanship put into this unit. I also like the touch pad that goes into the garage that has a motion sensor that turns the light on when you walk into the garage and it also tells you the temperature in the garage. read full review »There are so many cool features on this product, if I list them all, you probably wouldn't take the time to read them all. Some of my favorites that the manufacturer doesn't even bother to point out, are the ability to cause the unit to go into learn mode from the wall controller, and the way the unit soft starts and stops.
The unit was an easy install, is very quiet, the remotes are powerful and attractive...I'd be shocked if anyone could show me a better quality more feature packed product anywhere near this price.
Once you try this unit, you'll expect more of all your other appliances!

read full review »and powerful. The battery backup works great. I love all the features the product comes with. My old one lasted over twenty years. I'm glad I decided to choose this garage door opener over the chain drive it is much quiter. And the fact that it came with the battery backup was a plus for us especially living in Florida since we always have thunder storms during the summer and it is not unusual for the power to go out, it beats getting out in the rain to manually open the door.
