Craftsman Garden Tractor 917.28874 — 

This 27 HP Craftsman Professional garden tractor was bought to replace a 10 year old 36" riding mower that had finally given up the ghost (transmission died).What a revelation! It's got gobs of power and is very comfortable thanks to the automobile style adjustable seat  and roomy operator position. All controls are conveniently located and super easy to use. I especially appreciate the electrically operated mower deck height function and the cruise control. The deck wash-out port makes clean-up a breeze. The 54" deck has taken some getting used to because of its width but I can now mow our 1 acre lawn/meadow in half the time.The list price is reasonable considering the power and versatility of this tractor. It's a good compromise if you (like me) have considered purchasing a Compact Utility Tractor but can't quite justify the expense of one. With all the avaialble accessories, you'll be able to accomplish quite a bit at a third to a quarter of the price.
