For many years I've used a standard hoe to take care of the weeds but I've always felt there could be a more efficient and effective way to do it. I saw a gardener using one of these so-called "action hoes" and so I tracked one down at Sears and gave this hoe a go!
Far more effective and fast than using a standard hoe, this tool can work both on push and pull (though I found it did more while pushing rather than pulling). ...

This hoe, with its flat blalde, cuts off all weeds in its sweep. Other hoes can skip weeds as they pass between the times or as the chopping motion skips over them. This hoe also works on both the forward and backward motion and the lack of lifting during use makes it faster and easier to use.
