The chair is very comfortable but the edges on the top of the "wrenches" on the chair back are sharp. Overall I'm happy with the chair but I wish I would have picked one without the wrench design as it is too sharp.
We accidentally stumbled upon this deal while being in Sears. The chair was on Sale for $49.99 and we got $10 back from the Craftsman Club!!! This is normally $79.99!!
The seat was ripped by it looks like utility knife cut. the hydraulic was leaking.
The warehouse was not gentle with this package. Now when i try to exchange sears is out of stock and don't know if they will restock.
I can't find any comparable chais on the sears site that aren't under a hundred bucks.
Pretty dissappointed that i can't replace. This was a xmas gift for my husband.
This chair was exactly what I was looking for to use in my garage. The in-store display was $100...too much. A helpful associate looked on line and found it for $50. He let me use their computer terminal to order in on line and selected in store pick up (after he checked to see if they had any in stock).
It was easy to assemble and made with quality hardware. The wrenches built on to the seat back still make me chuckle. The only cons are the sharp edges along that back, but it's a minor issue, and I'd like a thicker seat pad for my bony butt.
It's a perfect gift for an old (or young) gearhead.
