Outperforms them all...

Craftsman Hose Nozzle —

This may be the last spray nozzle you'll ever need... Forget those seemingly bargain-priced nozzles the ones with a dozen useless spray settings, flimsy plastic parts and uncomfortable design. This will outlast them all, paying for itself in replacement costs alone. Thoughtful design: rubber-clad edges provide grip; protect and absorb impacts from drops; rubber-over-metal allows for safe, comfortable use with hot water applications. Great for car-washing: flexible jet stream patterns allow everything from blasting away surface dirt to quickly filling a water bucket without having to remove the nozzle; rubber trim prevents dents and scratches to sheet metal (should you accidentally drop it or bang it on the vehicle's surface). Ergonomics: no trigger grip eliminates fatigue, facilitates ease of use for those with arthritis or other physical limitations. Adjustability: water flow can be regulated with precision, from a gentle cascade to powerful, high-output stream; nozzle shaft turns smoothly for gradual fine-tuning of spray patterns. Construction: heavy-duty metal body and simplicity (few moving parts) make for long-lasting durability; stands up to rough use, making it pet- and child-proof. Only deficiency: the nozzle's adjustment action is so smooth and light to the touch that an inadvertent shift in spray pattern may result due to rough or sudden movements. As for the comment about nozzle and metal hose connections fusing from long-term contacta dab of petroleum or naval jelly should do the trick, or simply disconnect them when not in use (especially during wintertime in freezing climates).
