Much easier to handle than steel

Bought a pair of these Aug. 07, primarily for two-wheel hand carting (heavy and bulky!) sound equipment in and out of a GMC 3500 Savana 12' cutaway box van - perfect. Good solid construction and feel with a load on them, no tendency for slippage (I never even had to drill the box apron for the upper... read full review »

Good deal for the price.

Bought a pair for our Harley's.  While riding my girl's Sportster up one of the ramps the traction bump tore the hell out of the rear tire.  It had sprinkled and the ramp was a little wet so maybe the tire spun as I throttled up.  Just keep this in mind.

I purchased these ramps middle of Aug. and my Mom assembled them, it took her quite awhile. I had an appointment and was unable to help. When we first opened the box and saw how many bolts, nuts and washers there were we just looked at each other.  I had a friend torque them just to make sure everything was tight.  I also purchased a garden tractor at the same time, that's why I needed the ramps.  The steel ramps would have been too heavy.  I will write a review on the garden tractor after the fire season is over.  We were able to unload the tractor off my Toyota Tundra with no problem. I...

Craftsman aluminum ramps

I bought a pair of these so I could load my motorcycle on the back of a pickup. They worked perfectly, using one to walk up. They are relatively light weight, but strong due to steel stiffeners. The only downside would be there is a lot of assembly required, which is why I dropped one star for the rating. The curved top means the underside of the motorcycle does not catch on the ramp.

Buy these, not the steel ones

these are great ramps. Exactly the same as the black steel ones, but are much lighter. They take a little longer to build, but both ramps weigh less than one of the black steel ones.

nice ramps

bought these when I purchased Craftsman LT2000 Tractor...teens used em to change oil in car....not a good idea...cruched one down a bit...still works though for motorcycles and lawn tractor....just harder to fold back up

Great Product

These ramps are quality. Well worth the extra money over the steel ones. They take a while to put together, but are very stiff and sturdy. They are heavy to move.

Great Loading Ramps

I purchased two sets of ramps before purchasing the Sears ramps. I have a Toyota Tundra pickup and my Riding Mower would not load with the other ramps without "bottoming out". These ramps were easy to assemble and are lightweight. I also use them to load my motorcycle and they work great for that as well. They fold and will fit easily in my truck bed and store compactly. They are more durably built than the other I purchased and have stronger fasteners. One of the other sets I purchased would not fold after use, but I have had no trouble with these.

The aluminium ramps are great and are light enough that I dont worry about my back when moving them.
