Virtually no vibration compared to my finishing sander yet works just as fast. The pointed tip and accessories make even the hardest places easy to navigate. IMHO it's worth the extra $10 to get a few more pieces of sandpaper and the carrying case to hold everything together. The only negative I can find is the cost of sandpaper at about $1 per piece. Since you attach it with velcro you can't cut your own. The sandpaper is good quality grit however and lasted a long time. I really like this mouse!
