This item is well made and works great. Used it a few times and is a lot better then I thought it would be. Works for me
Just like the "pocket clip" magnet they have, this one is same issue. Good design, and all the right features with the exception of the magnet isn't nearly strong enough. Should have used "rare earth" magnet instead. That would increase the cost of the product by about $0.50, but just about anyone in the craft would be willing to pay that for the extra beef it puts into the model. The "release" they put on it only makes it work worse, because you have to press on the part you want to pick up. You can't just sweep through a pile of saw dust and have it "find" that little bolt you dropped....
