Good Looking Saw

So here's a new way to cut branches rather than using clippers. I have been using the clippers to cut branches or when the branches is hard to cut, I used the hand saw.

Pole Saw Attachment is a perfect tool to cut down hard branches and leftover tip of branches, It will be an easy job if I have that...

Got the view back

I needed to top off dozens of stocky Honeysuckles, which had grown to the point that they were blocking our hilltop view of the city below.  I went to Sears, was very happy with the help buying the saw, and was just as happy with the way it performed.  I hope it lasts, because it...

Amazing!

I have to say i was not sure this pole saw would be as useful as it has! I was amazed how well and easy it was to use. Its great for trimming your trees and shrubs. I originally purchased the line trimmer/weed trimmer combo... then got this pole saw, edger and blower and I am completely happy with all of them.

I trimmed up one of my Oaks this last weekend and this tool was awesome. It could use another 3' extension though. After cutting the limbs down, I thought I might need my regular chainsaw, but never fired it up as this tool was so easy to use. Happy Cutting.

Awesome chainsaw

I bought this several months ago

This is my first chainsaw ever owned and i must say, i LOVE IT!

It is easy to attach with pole.

It is easy to fix the chain or replace and adjust

I have been using this chainsaw for cutting high branches and even cutting down tall tress, with a base around 10  inch diameter.

This Chain saw cuts very nicely and when you run out of gas, it starts up within a few pulls after refueling.

I recommend this to all who wants to try out a chain saw for the first time.

Works a lot better than I expected. Low maintenance and simple set up. Durable.

I was kind of skeptic when I first saw this attachment at the store. I was looking to buy a chainsaw to prune my trees, but the idea of climbing a ladder with a handheld chainsaw wasn't too appealing for me. After reading some of the reviews I gave it a shot and bought it. Wow! Its all I can say after the first use. It is pretty stable, it is small enough to go through branches I want to keep,  the saw stays 11 feet or so away from me so I feel comfortable using a ladder, and most important, this thing can really cut branches! The cuts are quick and sharp, even when going through 6 inch diameter...

Last year I used a non-power pole saw and some loppers.

This year I used the Craftsman Pole saw attachment with my Craftsman gas trimmer motor. I did the same amount of work only it took me one afternoon instead of three weeks and sore shoudlers and elbows.

The chain stayed sharp longer that expected and only needed adjustment two times. I trimed twenty trees.

This, combined with my 33cc power head is a formidable weapon for pruning or cleaning up storm damage. I've used it with two extensions with no problems so far. That gives it a lot of reach. It was invaluable in eaning up last winter's ice storm damage. It's very well made and designed well. It compares well with other professional brands that sell for hundreds more. I'd buy it again and recommend it.

Better than expected.

With a sharp chain the saw does what it is suppose to do as a trim saw. If you have somoene to help keep the limb from binding on the saw bar it really does well. The saw will handle up to 3" limbs easily.

Awesome Attachment!

This attachment is well worth the money. You can reach a good distance up into the trees and trim limbs effortlessly. I was very surprised at how fast and easy this is to use. You can trim some pretty large limbs with this also. I started using this and before i knew it i had a yard full of limbs everywhere. I would definately recommend this to anyone. The only con would be that the saw dust tends to clog on the inside of the head.

The Craftsman Pole Saw Attachment is the best saw I ever saw! This saw attachment goes with the Craftsman standard 19 volt cordless battery powered pole saw. The Cordless batteries used by the saw are all interchangeable with other Craftsman 19 volt cordless tools. So ballyhoo for Craftsman for making all my portable tools versatile and making it so I always have atleast one battery charged. Craftsman is the tool innovator, indeed.

Back to the Pole saw attachment. This Pole saw is very powerful and durable. It cuts about 4-5" branches with ease. The saw is easy to wield and extend. Just watch out...

I recently added the Pole Saw attachment to my weedwhacker / edge trimmer tool. It sets up simply, and runs well after a little bit of warm-up. Chain blade cuts effectively, and is long enough for most branches that I'd need to trim. The assembly is a little heavy, but balanced well enough to be usable for some time. It's a little bit short, though, for the upper parts of moderate-sized trees; I wonder if an extender attachment might be available.

Works Great

I bought the pole saw after an ice storm last year.  It's attached to a Craftsman 32cc WeedWacker.  However this pole saw will also fit on a wide variety of brands.  Since they are part of the trimmerplus line of tools they are all the same.  It has an excellent reach and the bar is easy to adjust.  Overall no complaints.  I've used it a 1/2 dozen times to cut some pretty heavy branches (osage orange)  and it had no problem.  It isn't a chain saw so you have to take your time on the largest branches but it will cut through them.

Having never used a pole saw, I quickly fell into a groove with this Craftsman one on the end of my Craftsman line trimmer.  With the longest pole installed it can be cumbersome until you find the balance point, which is further forward.  I trimmed up 5 overgrown oaks, dragged them out front and sliced them to manageable pieces after work over two days.  No more ladders, no more back-and-forth sawing, no more numb shoulders.  This has 'cut' my time in the yard down by 80%!
