Craftsman Professional 1-1/2 hp 6-1/8&#34Jointer/Planer (21705) —

I bought this jointer recently at Sears and it performs excellently, especially for around $400. I've run lots of hardwoods through it no problem, and the blades are decent. I don't think that there is a better value on the market that performs this well. Only thing I would change is to add a flywheel adjustment to the infeed table instead of the lever (the outfeed table already has a flywheel), but it works fine. I gave it a 4 for performance but its more like a 4.5, its only because the kinives are very hard to adjust, but that's with any jointer pretty much.
