Craftsman Professional 20 volt Lithium-Ion Drill/Driver with LED Work Light —

I was looking for a kick replacement for my hammer drill that was stolen on a job site and was in pretty bad need of my drill. I replaced a Dewalt 18volt with this one I was think it was going to be short term but now that I have been using it. I can't justify spending the money. I have a extended warrenty and any local store and take care of me if I get in a squeeze. Thanks Sears for keeping the quality high on equipment and prices good for hard working people like myself.

A Craftsman Professional 20 Volt, 1/2 in. Drill/Driver. This full size Craftsman Professional drill with electric break weighs only 5.5 lbs without a battery. The high performance Craftsman Professional motor delivers up to 500 in.lbs. of torque. The 20 volt drill has plenty of power to drill, drive and plunge through soft woods, hard woods or metals. With an adjustable 24-position clutch, users are able to match the torque to the job. The two-speed, heavy-duty, all metal machined gear box provides a smooth, efficient power transfer to the bit. For added control, the Drill/Driver features an extended length variable speed trigger with soft grip. The trigger switch controls the RPM in the Low range, 0-350 rpm, and in the High range, 0-1300 rpm. A 1/2 in. single sleeve, all metal, ratcheting keyless chuck quickly grips the bit and clicks when the bit is properly secured. The ergonomic "T" handle with soft-grip provides proper balance and a secure grip on the tool. For enhanced vision, an LED work light is featured to illuminate the material and the work surface. This Craftsman Professional 1/2 in. Drill/Driver is powered by a 20V Lithium-Ion battery featuring SmartChip technology. SmartChip technology maximizes the efficiency and lifecycle of the battery by monitoring and controlling the battery's output. SmartChip is built into the battery system to protect the battery from over discharge, over charge, and overheating.
