Craftsman Professional 25 gal. Air Compressor, 1.8 hp, Horizontal Tank —

I purchased this compressor a little over a year ago for some light automotive work in my personal garage. The compressor is quiet and feels solid. Moving the unit around is a snap due to the wonderful design and air filled wheels. Overall, this is a good compressor, but two things should be noted. One, the air pressure regulator broke within 14 months. It worked fine for the 6 months that I used it, but it sat for about 8 months in my Florida garage. When I turned it on, the regulator was leaking horribly. After searching several forums, this appears to be a common issue and is not covered under the 1 year warranty. Secondly, the compressor does not come with oil, so don't forget to fill it before you turn it on. Several owners made this mistake and greatly reduced the life expectancy.
