Craftsman Professional 25 gal. Air Compressor, 1.8 hp, Horizontal Tank —

I've owned 3 of these compressors in 3 months. The first one worked for 1 week and then blew a head gasket and couldn't develop any pressure - retuened it to the store for credit. The 2nd one was delivered and was heavily damaged when we opened the box (fortunately the driver took it away). The third one lasted 60 days and then started leaking oil into the air tank and into the air filter - and it wouldn't run for more than 30 seconds all the while making a metal-on-metal squealing sound. It's going back to Sears this weekend. But - when it works it's great. Quiet, strong, quick to recover pressure. If only it would last more than 60 days. Typical run time totalled 2hrs a day on Sat and Sun and nothing in between.
