This is, without a doubt, the best cordless drill I have ever used. I have had this drill for six months and it hasn't let me down AT ALL. In 1998, I purchased a DeWalt 18-Volt cordless drill. It was great. I was so happy with it that I purchased another after 5 years of heavy use. The second DeWalt...

NoBattery.....Nothing in listing stated there was not a battery....There was a small note on side of ther box that I doubt Superman could even read as the font was so small that no battery was included.   I did not find out until I arrived home & opened the box.   What a scam......What am I supposed...

excellent drill

This drill has power and gets the job done.  You won't be unhappy with it!  We bought it to use as a standby, but it has become the go to item in the tool box.

If you are unsure about this one or the cheaper one, I would advise purchasing this item.

A friend lent me this drill on the job and it was the first time i used this particular drill I'm impressed with the power and battery life, needless to say I had to get one for myself !!

I bought this Craftsman Pro 20V lithium drill combo (drill, drill handle, light, charger, batteries, carrying case) over a year and a half ago and am glad I did.  It replaced a smaller voltage Craftsman Ni-Cad model as the batteries just wouldn't last.

I have ongoing projects of replacing some decking and the fencing in my large backyard.  The projects stretched out over time and it is nice to be able to pick up the drill and be ready to go regardless of how long the drill has been sitting idle.  The lights on the front of the battery indicating the charge level are great for determining how...

Wow..... what a drill!

I was looking for a kick replacement for my hammer drill that was stolen on a job site and was in pretty bad need of my drill. I replaced a Dewalt 18volt with this one I was think it was going to be short term but now that I have been using it. I can't justify spending the money. I have a extended warrenty and any local store and take care of me if I get in a squeeze. Thanks Sears for keeping the quality high on equipment and prices good for hard working people like myself.

I like the way this drill handles.........the torque it has, the feel of it, the spot light that helps you see where you are drilling or setting a screw, not a heavy drill. I like the keyless chuck where it ratches down on the bits and not comes a loose like most keyless chucks. I like the battery indicator lights to let you know when its time to place battery on charge. The hammer features of the drill is excellent. I had the craftman professional 18 volt drill for ten years got good use out of it and I decided to go back with another craftmans professional drill because of the experience I...

As the new drill on the job , My Craftsman drill was used by several work partners for two days and it won every contest against Dewalt, Hilti and Makita for strength , runtime, balance and the longest lasting charge. I install commercial cabinetry in Hospitals and Schools 10 hours a day. This drill seems to be the best available at a good price. My super owns most of the drills available and in his 19 years of installing cabinetry this Craftsman is the best drill he has used. I bought this so no one would steal my batteries like with the more poplar drills and now there are gonna be other Craftsman... read full review »

Excellent Drill and workhorse tool

I choose this set to replace my older Craftsman Pro set that I had had for over 5yrs. I compared this set to a comparable RIDGID set both NiCad and Lithium. I found the features of charge time, weight, and battery duration to be much better with this set. I like the lighter weight of the Lithium batteries in this set and found no loss of power over the charge time of the pack. One battery powered the drill for the day (10hr.) where I installed blinds, drapes, bath finish items, and other misc items where both screws and drilling were required. On another day, I had no problem with drilling for... read full review »

A great drill

I bought this drill as a replacement for my 9.6 v craftsman cordless. the main reason I bought it was because of the Li battery. I was tired of going to use the old drill and having the batteries run out after a couple of minutes. The first thing I noticed what the locking chuck, which is a vast improvement. the bit is now securely held in place with a twist of the chuck. The battery also holds up nicely and charges fast. The drill has plenty of power. One thing I do not like is that the hi-low switch is not as smooth as my old drill. Sometime it get stuck in between positions but this is not a... read full review »

Excellent tool

I am not a professional builder but I perform many building projects on my ranch. I expect tools to be ruged, perform well, and be easy to use. The Lithium-Ion 20v cordless drill built a 50'x50' barn/workshop with me using all screws (no nails). The drill has plenty of torque for drilling metal and wood. The drill drove 2 1/2" deck screws without problem, 6 to 8 hours a day. It charges quickly and the charge lasts the workday. The drill has fallen at least a half-dozen times from the top of a ten-foot ladder onto a concrete slab without a problem. I like it so well that my son is getting one for... read full review »
