I purchased the 3 peice combo kit and then added this to it so I would have a well rounded set to work with. This saw is really good for a battery operated one and cuts with lots of power and has no problem with the right blade cutting through any steel or even doing demo. work with a 14" long blade...

The first thing I noticed about this saw was that it looked good and had some good features. The next thing I did was pick it up and add the battery pack. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs. Bought the saw to go with my matching drill-saw-light kit and impact wrench. Uses the same batteries as the other red 20-volt lithium tools. The saw has a bit of weight to it, but with that weight comes power. I used one fully charged battery and was able to do about 20 minutes of cutting (removed some shrubs and some aluminum fencing) and it showed no signs of getting weaker. Has two little LED headlamps on it, (add to the l337 factor) and it overall is a good tool.
I have bought a lot of nice tools from Sears over the last 35 years but this is not one of them.The first one I bought needed a new battery after six or seven months and it took six months to get one,then the inside came apart but then it was out of warranty so i bought another one.Now the blade will not stay in long enough to cut a 2 inch piece of exhaust pipe
This tool has nice features for the price and plenty of power for basic jobs. I purchased it on sale and it's a great value compared to other brands. It great not to be tethered to a power cord!
This saw is very strong. We use it in the warehouse when we need to tear through large wood crates with ease. Just put a nice bi-metal blade on there and this saw will tear through anything. The battery life is amazing and the tool-less blade changing is great.
This saw is great easy to use ,powerful to do any demo. Used it to cut limbs after Hurricane IKE, Battery lasted long time.
All the 20 volt lithium tools are excellent including the reciprocating saw. The saw was delivered in a timely fashion and I have no complaints................
