A good value, comparable to other brands in function. Motor is a bit noisy compared to other grinders I've used of comparable size. Handles standard size grinding wheels and it's easy to change the wheels.

It's also light and the long cord is great. It's also nice to know I can get service from Sears if it breaks.

I was shocked at the power of this grinder. There was a lot bigger and more powerful grinders, but after using it, I don't think I'd ever need any more power.

Got this for my anniversary. This little guy is strong, enough amperage to get the job done. The switch takes a little getting used to but a great little grinder overall..... Excellent value, buy the professional, only $10 more, and twice as powerful....

I use the heck out of this thing, fabricating metal with the cut off wheel, grinder and metal buffer. Cover it in metal dust and it keeps on going. I'm going to get another one so I don't have to change wheels so frequently. It's light enough to also use with one hand if needed. I'm just glad that there are some craftsman things that still hold it's own....

its very affordable and works great have used to grind and used a sanding disc to remove rust from my pickup and it worked very well. i have used it on other tasks and it worked good....

I have used this grinder for industrial fabrication and for home projects.It is a tough little grinder,have had no problems and I have really tested its limits...
