hands down the best blower money can buy
I have only owned this blower for a short while, but am extremely impressed on how easily it starts. Even though it's recommended to prime ten times, only a couple of primes with the full choke, then partial choke is all that's required. Even with the engine warmed up, no choking is necessary, and it starts the first time. Sears has outdone itself with this product.
I finally broke down and decided to replace my 20 year old McCullough blower. I was leaning towards a 4 cycle model but found them to be underpowered not to mention $30 more expensive. After doing some homework I decided on this model because of the light weight and power. I was also pleasantly surprised at how easy it its to start especially compared to my old McCullough. I recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably powerfully blower for a fair price.
After reading all the reviews on Sears.com, I decided this was the model for me, based on the number of positive reviews. I bought the blower back in March, but was unable to use it for about three weeks. When I finally found time to assemble it, it proved to be a snap to assemble. I really liked the easy locking tubes...so much easier than the previous blowers I've bought. Then when it came time to use it, the starting was a breeze...no jerking my arm out of the socket pulling the starter rope! Using it was great...cleaned up what little sidewalks and driveway I have in seconds! I found myself...
read full review »I just purchased this gas powered blower. Filled it with fuel and within 3 pulls it started. The blower seems to have sufficient power, and is really light weight. I haven't had the opportunity to give it a good workout yet but with the early Spring we normally get in Texas it won't be long. I was somewhat diapppointed this blower did not come with the vacuum attachment. For the price I think it should have been included and not an accessory for an additional price.
I own many Craftsman tools, two riding lawnmowers, three weedwackers 2 stroke and 4 stroke, electric power tools, hand tools and so...
read full review »I been looking for a blower for about 2 weeks now. The reviews on the other sears blowers were not so good. This one had good reviews. I went to my local sears and bought it on sale for 143.99. I just love this blower!!! For the price I paid it is a great buy. Love the power. The warranty is also great with 3 years. If your looking for a great blower look no further!! You won't be sorry with this purchase!!
I only operated the blower once but it seems to work fine. It starts easy and has decent blowing power. I had another Craftsman blower for 13 years before it finally gave up the ghost. It's performance is the reason I purchased another Craftsman blower.
Really enjoy working with this in my business. It's a top quality machine!
I did my homework to see which blowers were worth buying. This one was top rated everywhere i found worthwhile ratings. I'm happy overall with my purchase of this blower . It runs very well, has great power (even in wet leaves) and is very quiet. It started up with no problem out of the box and just needed a minor carb. adjustment to be perfect. I'm glad the carb has adjustment screws, I don't mind having to make adjustments anyhow. This is a great blower for a great price. I got mine on sale plus the craftsman club discount. No worries with this blower it's a top contender...
read full review »This is the exact blower made by Poulan Pro carried at ****** currently retailing for $134. Sears always does this hi-low pricing so that when its on sale, its the same retail as the exact item somewhere else. If you're shopping for power equipment, look elsewhere - you'll find the same thing for much less.
There is nothing about this blower not to like. I bought it after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
I researched several blowers, from the cheaper Craftsman models to Echos and Sthls. When it is on sale combined with another discount purchased online, I determined this blower to be a great unit for the money. I like how that the intake is on the right hand side of the blower so that it does not suck up against the leg of a right-handed user. You would think that most blowers would be designed this way because most people are right-handed. True, the gas tank does seem a little small. But, my biggest disappointment is that the impeller seems to be made of plastic instead of metal. When...
