I bought this on clearance at sears, it was a floor model. It was 129.99, didnt no anything about it when I bought it, so was a little worried that it wasnt going to be very powerful, I was wrong. I would pay 189 for it if I had to, thats how much I like it. Have a snap on, matco, and a Ir gun, and my little craftsman is right up there with all of them, way to go again craftsman.

I give this tool five stars.    I purchased this impact wrench a few weeks ago because I was having trouble removing the screws from my muffler when I was trying to replace with a new one on my Vespa Scooter.  I don't know much about auto tools, but this one was easy for even a novice like myself to use. It is lightweight and small, but seems to have lots of power.   Worth having around!

Excellent 3/8 gun

I've had this 3/8 gun for over 1 year now and its still going strong. It's my second one though, because the first one i had the reverse button kept coming off whenever i changed directions. Sears gave me a brand new one though. I love the one i have now. It works perfect and is light and compact. It fits into places where a 1/2 can't go and has enough power to get the job done.

Awesome Small Impact

I am an ASE certified technician and build high-dollar, high-performance racing engines. For the repetitive engine tear-downs, a 1/2" impact wrench is overkill. I found this composite 3/8" impact wrench to be light, maneuverable, and extremely powerful to remove most fasteners up to 1/2" in shank diameter. Its size to weight ratio make it very easy for one-handed. I am left handed and this tool is designed for either right or left handed people. By appearance, I believe Ingersol-Rand makes this tool for Craftsman. If my assumption is true, IR is a premier air tool manufacturer--and this tool shows... read full review »

5 Stars

I can't say that I'd rate a whole lot of things all fives. I have had very good service from this gun. As far as I could tell, it is made by Ingersol Rand. It had the same specs and looked the same as the IR gun, but it was cheaper. I used the gun for 4 years before it failed. I am a technician for a living and believe me when I tell you a tool lasting over two years that it is used everyday is just about impossible. I was so inpressed with it that i bought another one. It's a little louder than my Snap On 3/8ths impact, but just as strong. I can't say I've looked at the specs on my Snap On, but... read full review »

Tilt valve cracking

I bought about 20 of these for my employer, The Toro Company, every single one has had the tilt valve crack allowing the tool to run without activating the trigger. We also, use Ingersoll-Rand 2112 and 2115Ti impacts. These have not yet had this problem, even though they use the same mechanism. I ordered the parts and fixed them myself. I notified you about this problem, but I didn't get a response. I haven't bought any of these since. With the exeption of this problem, they work very well.
