Craftsman Professional 40cc 18 in. Gas Chain Saw with Carrying Case —

I purchased this chain saw through my local Sears outlet store. The Salesman was very professional and was able to get me this saw quickly. I picked up the saw and brought it home. It went to work the next day cutting down a tree at a Church. The tree was 36 inches around. I fired up the saw and it started on the 1st pull. The saw ran great and had plenty of power. It sliced through the wood like butter, I was pleasantly surprised with how little vibration there was with this saw. This was easy on my hands and arms. The power band was smooth from idle to full throttle. The saw is light weight and very easy to control. I would recommend this saw to anyone. It did a fine job as I ran it for 4 hours straight. I really appreciate the quality that Craftsmen tools have. This saw will probably last for 2o years or better. I also like the fact that parts are so easy to acquire for Craftsmen products. This saw comes with a complete parts breakdown in the owners manual and an easy method to order them online. Keep up the good work Sears. You have a "Customer for Life" with me..

I bought the same Chain Saw in mid 2007 in 2009 I stoped to refuel and could not get it started. After checking out the IGNITION ASS'Y THEIR IS NO SPARK AT THE SPARK PLUG. Ordered a replacment after a weak after calling them back they no longer can get the part or a substitute from the company. The barcode on my saw says it wes ASSENBLED IN TIAWN. So here I have a saw with 10 hrs on it that will not run. Need help
