Fast, powerful and easy to use

This is the second one I bought. I am a weekend DIY'er, so I don't use it very often, but for the "occasional" uses from repacking the SUV front axle, greasing up the u-join, drive shaft to regular maintenance of impact air wrench, it has lived to my expectation. It is very easy to use and very powerful... read full review »

Not worth the time

I follow the instructions to the letter and it is a constant battle to keep it primed. I generally can only use half a tube of grease because the plunger sticks or there is not enough spring pressure to push the grease to the end. If it worked as advertised there is no argument, it would be perfect....

Craftsman Professional Continuous Flow Grease Gun Reviews

grease gun sure beats pumping by hand, I have used mine for 3 years in semi-truck dealership service center. pumps good easy to prime, only thing is that after several hundred tubes of grease the seal in the cylinder leaks grease by and makes big mess when changing grease tubes. not as strong as a bulk grease gun, but will free up fittings that a hand grease gun won't. The continuous action only works if the grease flows freely out of fitting other wise you have to pump trigger for more pressure. I just purchase a new one due to the grease leaking by the seal, pump part still works good, going... read full review »

The gun was constantly hanging up right out of the box and being a millwright and machinist I tore the thing apart and after deburing a couple of pieces I got it to work correctly. The thing is also hard to charge and purge the air out of. The charging handle should lock into the piston to help push the grease up the tube like my manual grease guns do. Other than that is pumps guite well now...

Not to sure....

I purchased a contentious flow grease gun, Maybe I'm not sure what the exact definition of continuous flow is.

I put it together and hooked the air up I squeezed the trigger several times to get grease to the end of the hose. When I held the trigger it pumps once and just blows air. Its model # is 19959 brand new out of the box.

Best grease gun for the money!

I purchased this grease gun about 3 weeks ago. I work in a large shop and I got tired of looking for the grease barrel, rolling it all the way to my work stall, and getting stuck in the divots and uneven pavement on the way there. I have been using it daily and boy is it a time saver! It works as advertised. The best feature is the variable flow trigger. I can control the flow of grease and prevent overgreasing the fitting and making a mess unlike the grease barrel gun our shop has. I checked with Snap-On and the Blue Point equivalent of this gun is $120!!! What a deal at $49.99. It's been worth... read full review »

One more No to add the chorus don't buy.

It acts like it wants to work but grease does not go in the fitting. A grease gun that doesn't have a flexible hose is nearly useless.

5 stars

This is a real time saver! I grease my Farm Tractor & all my Impliments in less than half the time it took with my hand-pump grease gun. (I'm buying 2 more of these).

Best grease gun I have ever owned

Picked this gun up on sale for 29.99. It primed perfectly the first time and has work the past 3 or 4 times perfectly. I would recommend that you oil it regularly as the manual states otherwise the plunger sticks occasionally but after oiling works perfect. Overall the gun is very efficient and at $29.99 (Sale Price)or even at $49.99 (Regular Price) this gun has been quite a value. This item has also saved a lot of time on the job. Thank you CRAFTSMAN!!!.

Cheap...Cheap...Cheap

I bought this gun thinking that with the craftsman brand it would last a little while. It lasted me 2 hours on greasing aircraft. I read and fallowed the instructions and the guns air plunger kept jamming after repeatly oiling per instructions. I will be returning it tomarrow and not getting another one.

Does not Deliver grease

Purchased for me as a Father's Day present. Wish I had read these reviews prior to spending time trying to get the gun to deliver grease. Read the manual prior to setup and should have guessed there would be problems when I notice figures missing. Chamber too tight that grease tubes will not completely insert. Then Grease gun would not deliver grease. By far the most disappointing experience I have ever had in 30 yrs with a Craftsman product. It is being returned to store and do not plan to get a another one.

Not a reliable product

I purchased one of these and returned it because no grease would come out. The second gun will prime but not reliably deliver the grease. It is unknown if grease is being delivered to bearings. 3 out of 4 bearings greased had no visible signs the grease injected. The second gun will be returned shortly.

Craftsman Grease Gun JUNK!!!

This is the second grease gun I bought. The first one I bought was the cheaper $24.99 one and that one wouldn't push grease though the fitting so I returned that one back. So I bought the professional grease gun on sale for 44.99 hoping it would work. First of all putting together was a pain because I bought a flexable hose for it and it wouldn't fit. It only comes with a metal tube. Then I installed a grease tube and the gasket in the head wouldn't fit in the tube with the grease down inside. So I left the gasket out and screwed the head on the tube. It was like the threads were striped out even... read full review »

So far so good

First grease gun (red Craftsman) was a junk. This one seems to be working fine for now. I have only had it for a day so I will have to see how reliable it is. Pistol style trigger is better than the one it has. It should also have a little heavier materials.

Wont prime

I can not get this unit to prime. To prime I have to push a hand full of grease into the head. Sometimes that works but never for a full tube of grease. I am using a #2 grease here in Florida. Don't even think of using this tool in a cold climate. As with so many Craftsman tools this one is foreign made and a copy of a well known American brand. My last Craftman grease gun lasted 30 years until the piston seal deteriorated.
