I love this router table

I have two of these router tables. I make custom cabinets for a living. These little table are not as nice as the industrial tables and shapers that you pay megga bucks for but do a sufficient duty for what you need them for. I make all of my Cabinet doors and trim on them. Neither table is bowed in... read full review »

Table Saw Extension - NOT!

After reading the reviews on the Router Table, I bought it because several individuals indicated it worked well as an extension to their Table Saw table. WELL, It is only 24" wide and mine (like most Table Saw tables) is 27". So I'll have to waste my time coming up with a modification - Would have also... read full review »

The box had never been opened, but their were so many missing parts I couldn't assemble the unit. Unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt and Sears didn't have a record of the purchase. I was so disgusted the unit got trashed.

Great for the price...

This is a great first router table. It has a lot of great features for $79.99 or $119.00. Even at the regular price you get features not available at that price point. Pro's 1. Aluminum cast table top with routing grooves. 2. 2.5 dust exhaust port (hook up to a shop vac reduced ducst routing) 3. Mitre gauge, vertical push shoe. 4. Accomodates the craftsman router line. You will need to check with other brands of router. You might need to create or buy a base plate for another brand of router that will work with this table. 5. Adjustable fence with Micro Adjustment. The micro adjustment feature... read full review »

SOLID

I PAID 79.00 FOR THIS ON SALE AND IT CAME WITH A SMALL SET OF ROUTER BITS. THE TABLE WAS PROBABLY A LITTLE BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. BUT AS OPPOSED TO SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWERS THE TABLE HAS SERVED ME WELL. I'VE MADE MANY PIECES OF TRIM AND MOULDING AND THE EDGE JOINTER FEATURE ON THE FENCE IS SOMETHING I'VE ONLY SEEN IN HIGHER PRICED AND CUSTOM MADE TABLES. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THAT THE SWITCH/RECEPTACLES SITS A BIT LOOSE ON THE TABLE FRONT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TABLE FOR A SMALL SHOP TO MAKE MOULDINGS AND DO SOME EDGE JOINTING THIS TABLE IS MORE THAN... read full review »

warped table

I bought this table from sears after reading reviews that were good. I assembled the table with my craftsman router and ran a couple of pieces of redwood through it and noticed that they were all cutting uneven. I removed the fence and placed my level on the table and found out that the center of the table is about 1/8" higher than the rest of the table. Ive tried to make this a useable table but there is simply no way. THIS TABLE IS WARPED AND CANNOT BE USED. do not buy. Worst off is that ive had it for too long to return so im out of luck with a 120 dollar piece of bent steel for a router table... read full review »

dont buy this

I bought this a year ago and have not used it alot.It was missing center rings and now it is wotrh nothing to me because i can not use my jigs because I can't mount the bushing in the top.I tried to get info online but they tell me this router table is not in the system so no parts available. I also own a Ridgid router and it wont mount to the table.Had craftsman router mounted but burnt up quick. All in all I am very disappointed with this and would not buy anymore craftsman tools because the support you get is terriable

Overpriced

It is a magnificently adequate piece of equipment. Similar tables sell for about half the regular retail price of this item. I got it at a 15% discount but still consider it overpriced.

excellent and versitile

I bought this with the stand and assembled it easily. It works great! The miter guage glides smooth without a wobble and I can get any option needed for a good price. I put the 2 hp craftsman router with dust bag and light on it. It works great and is less noisy than my old router. This router table will also fit as an extension on my table saw which is something I plan on doing later, it will be a great set up having a router and table saw as one large platform for wood working. Very happy with this item

Great Table

This is my first table that I have purchased. I have used a few other tables in the past and was very pleased that this one has a built in feature that allows it to be used an edge plainer. From time to time I find that I need one of these and this allows this table to be a 2 in 1.

Great table

I bought this table to replace a B&D table. I like the long table and fence. The table takes routers other than Craftsman. I am currently using a Skil 1840 router. Would recommend to anyone needing an mid level table.

Disposable Router Table Purchase

This is a basic table that has worked well for me over the years. It has been problem free up to the point that the small, weak tab broke from the router insert. Sears has discontinued this insert which means that my router now has a 3 inch hole around the bit. Withthe exception of larger pieces it is now useless and dangerous.

I waited too long...

i bought this table several years ago, and finally decided to assemble it. I felt the directions had much to be desired for clarity and precision. I'm still looking for 2 holes in table to mount the switchbox.

I just purchased the Router table and was very pleased with how easy it was to put together and use. I have not used a Router very often and found that it was very aesy to use.
