Keeper at Bottom of Pole Breaks

The slide on the pole broke the part on the bottom of the pole. The pumping action is accomplished by a slide that rides the pole. The end of the pole has a keeper that the slide bottoms out on and anchors the nylon strap that works the cutter at the top of the pole. I don't use the prunner very often, and try to be careful. But the slide hit the keeper and broke it.

pump and cut tree trimer

I keep breaking the trimmer, first the bottom broke out and Sears gave me a new one. I was more carefull about pulling to hard when pruning but this time the edge broke off of the top plastic pully and the cord keeps slipping off and getting stuck.
