Revolution Lawn Tractor sounds like a turbine, cuts great!

Craftsman Revolution 42" Briggs & Stratton 22 hp Gas Powered Zero Turn Riding Lawn Mower —

First of all it is louder than most lawn tractor! Wear hearing protectors! Great at cutting grass, wish deck would go up higher to allow taller grass. Deck is 42", the Cut Cadet (almost twins) ZTTs are available in 46" decks, the series is identical with the exception of color ( Cabdet yellow), engine offerings(Cadet has Kohler Available, not B&S) and a 3 year warranty (instead of 2 from Sears). The prices are close between the 2 lines, so it would be a difficult choice. I purchased mine from an outlet store for a great price. First one had so may things wrong with it that the tech wrote it up as unrepairable and Sears go me a new one, same price. Have had it for 4 months, noticed it is getting harder to start, with less than 30 hours on it. Did buy a scoop( will review it later!), a bit difficult to mount, had to get special mounts for it, but works OK. Next would like more attachments for it, like a weight kit, bagger, chains, sleeve hitch- they are all way overpriced. The bagger is over $100 more than other tractors' baggers.

Good points -- My experiences were similar. I got a new tractor after about 4 hours. The service guy was driving it when it stopped moving. He started to argue that I would have to pay the diff between a new one and the $1500 liability limit of the warranty! The department mgr @ Crystal lake IL sears store intervened & made it right-so he won another customer! The Achilles heel of this model is the non-serviceable tranny.

I have about 12 hours on my 2nd, and it is an awesome tractor. It has a 10% bigger deck but cuts my 3/4 acre in about half the time with only about 20% of the trimming still needed. I too spent my fall waiting for more leaves to fall and grass to grow!

Obtw the Cub attachments all seem to fit & are cheaper than sears's - I used the $12 cub mulch plug and it fit like it was made for the sears.
