Craftsman kills the competition I'm telling ya...  I've used and abused this shop vac to hell and it's still alive and kicking like it was day 1.  You can use the filter for such a long time if you want!  I just rinse it down or tap it to clean it.  I know it's meant to be disposable/replaceable...

12-gallon shop vacuum model 9-17765 is compact and fits better under vehicles than the larger 16-gallon unit. It has good suction when filter is clean but filter clogs easily and is difficult to get really clean. I suspect the airflow swirl pattern inside the canister is not as well engineered as my...

The 6.5 hp shop vac I purchased is my second Craftsman shop vac with the first one lasting 30 years! This new shop vac has many improved features including swivel front wheels to easily pull inot place, a lower profile so it is not easily upset, cord windup tangs, vac attachment storage, and nicely designed clamps to hold the top on. However, the best added feature is by far the detachable motor that makes an extremely handy blower to clean sawdust out of hard to reach spots, or a reasonable power leaf blower. I even used the portable blower to clear the sidewalk of a recent 3 inch (dry) snow....

I can't say enough about my Craftsman Shop Vac.  It's used constantly in the garage, whether to suck up water that got in or to vacuum up the mud/dirt/dust that me or the kids dragged through the garage and out onto the deck!  It's very easy to use.  It comes with several attachments, and we use every one.  There's one for water, one for "regular" vacuuming, but the one we use the most is the smaller attachment, which makes cleaning our vehicles out a breeze!  Remember to remove the filter when you are sucking up any water or damp material.  That is all you need to remember.  It is definitely...

i bought this shop vac for minor usage in my apt.  the salesman suggested the least expensive model as it would meet my needs.  i brought it home and it worked exactly as he described.  for more serious issues he suggested i come back possibly to purchase the more expensive one if the need arises.  no pressure.  great value for the bucks. the item was #17713.......30.00

Craftsman shop vac is compact, but powerful enough for most jobs.  The price was a great

bargain too.  I got it for under $40.  I actually got it as a gift for my father-in-law and he loves it.

Craftsman stands behind the quality of their products.  Another great reason to purchase one.

This 2-gallon shop vac is one powerful little sucker!  It is just the right size to use from garage to car to basement. It's easy to maneuver into small spaces, yet has enough suction power to get the job done.  Not only does it suck, it blows - since it has a blower function for clearing leaves and other debris.

I absolutely love it! I bought an attachment kit that details my car! It is so easy to use and does a fabulous job! And being a Mom, I need things to be clean! This does just that!

Great Product

I purchased this product the day after thanksgiving for my uncle.  It was a great price, and a great product.

Powerful for the price

I bought this for $39 at my local sears store. Works great for the money, large hose, blow feature. Tip: clogged filter will seriously inhibit suction. and a little dab of silicon will keep feet on when picking up to carry around.

After using this shop vac to keep my basement and garage clean, I liked it so much, I bought another one and gave it to my brother for Christmas.

We bought this to clean the ash out of our pellet stove, works great no ash blown back in the house.  Also works great to clean the van out..

5 GAL CLEAN 'N CARRY: Love it!

The only down side of the Craftsman Clean'N Carry 5 gallon shop vacuum is the storage container. It does not always want to stay closed and can be awkward to open. I enjoy the hanging option that keeps it off the floor and the 22 feet of hose. Enough so that I bought two, one for the workshop side of my garage and one for the garage itself. The storage basket does not allow for additional accessories. It works great and the long hose option is great. I have even used a third section from the other vac for nearly 30 feet of use.

Works well, and relatively quiet for a vacuum.  Sucks up all the junk in your garage and basement that you are afraid to get near.  Really good at getting dust and little stuff.  Has easily paid for itself.
