I bought the sign making kit for a project. The kit came with both 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" horizontal letters and vertical numbers. New and Improved??

Not sure why it says new and improved? Templated are made of plastic, how is that improved. One slip or wrong move and the template is ruined, will only buy new kit when i find one that is made of metal or steel, if one exist. Am a craftsman devotee but do not see myself buying much more router accessories...

Sign Pro Router kit

This tool is not of the quality I expected. The template letters move during router processes and they are not well crafted.

This kit doesn't pretend to be professional and it isn't. However, there are still some basic flaws that shouldn't exist even for an amateur product... Parts used near a router bit should never be plastic, one slip and the router eats right through them (and this will happen, count on it). Then there is no way to replace the ruined letters or bushings without buying kits or a new whole set. The thing is flimsy and difficult to use but it can do the job.
