They aren't going to replace a metal toolbox but then that isn't what they were meant to do.
For gathering up all the tools needed for an odd job or two they are useful. I transfer what I think I may need from my toolboxes into one of these and then carry just that with me.
The area around the zipper is the weakest part of the bag's design. Somewhat thin and seems to me it will tear sooner than later. Otherwise a decent heavier gauge material than I was expecting.
Well worth the 8 dollars (on sale) I paid for the pair.
