I was looking for a reliable lawn mower and this Craftsman model really fit the bill.  I have found it very easy to start, easy to handle and leaves the lawn looking really nice.  It is not too loud and easily adjust to different heights.  All around I am a very happy customer!

Works well until it dies...

This Craftsman mower works well... until it dies.  From the beginning, the engine seemed to want to increase power, then decrease, constantly.  On the fourth use, it started to spit and sputter, then shut off.  I thought it was out of gas, but when I went to refill it, there was still over a third...

This is the fourth mower I've had over the last 20 odd years and the two that were Craftsman have easily been the most reliable.   I am not the type to maintain things well...in fact, I pretty much mow one last time in November and then fire it up again in the spring (usually w/ the same gas sitting in the tank).    Usually starts on first pull.  Easy to manuever and if I had anything that I'd probably change is that you need three arms to properly dislodge the clippings bag (reaching through the handles while holding it underneath..then switching hands to unload).   A minor drawback.

 I'd...

The mower reliably starts and runs very well as I have had it for 2 years now, but, the grass bag is a frustrating mess. Sears needs to design a bag closing system that doesn't break down after 6 months, i.e., I use 3 spring clamps to hold the thing together and it doesn't look like even that will last much longer.

The Craftsman Torque 3-in-1 Mower  is full of power. I have really enjoyed mowing my lawn with this. It has front wheel drive and is self-propelled. Much better than my previous mower. This lawn power practically pulls me along instead of being pushed. Of course, the last time I mowed my lawn with my old mower I was 7 months pregnant, so it might seem easier than it really is. It cuts well and the wheels are very easy to adjust the height of the cut. Our lawn is full of divets (not from golfing though) and this lawn mower pulls right through the divets and hills. Now, if I could only get my trees... read full review »

I hope that I am writing to the correct product. I purchased a lawnmower about a month or so ago. I have back and neck injuries so I never thought I could use a push mower let alone start it.

I discovered that this lawnmower was very easy to start, first pull with no strain. I love it. I cant state how it makes me feel more independent. I have always had to rely on someone else to mow my lawn. Now I can do it my self and in moderation as I need to.

I havent found any cons in this machine.

This mower has been the most dependable mower I've ever had.  It has always started on the first or second pull, even after putting it in storage for the winter.  I love the Craftsman mowers and will always buy them.

This seems to be a good mower, especially for the price. Easy start and grass catcher stays in place without gaps for dust and clippings to escape.

Only problem was one rear wheel bracket was bent causing the mower to pull to the left. Easy enough to fix after removing wheel and hammering bracket flat but it should have been caught before packing.

I purchased the Craftsman Torque 3-in-1 Mower for my dad at the beginning of the summer. This mower is definitly worth the money for those long summers when the grass seems to need cut once every 3 days. My dad claims that it's thee most durable lawn mower on the market, my mom proved that to be correct! It's very light-weight and easy to manage for those steep hills and dips throughout your yard. This isn't your ordinary mower, it has 21in. cutting width and a max. cutting height of 3in. In other words, that means you won't have to cut your yard every time you turn around like your neighbor! I...

My new Craftmen lawnmower is a marvel, it pulls itself and bags and starts with a key and does most of the work for my son, which means he will use it more often and it will be a pleasure to him.
