It does keep snow and wind off you most of the time, too bad you can't drive into wind all the time. Clips that hold it in place keeps moving, the left hand controls for the snowblower does not operated easily in the cab. My BIG PROBLEM with the unit on my DYS4500 is you can not engage the snowblower unless you move the support that holds up the front of the cab. The clutch arm is 3 inches too long, it can not pass the support unless you move the support or else it pops up the hood on the tractor and the support falls on the battery - VERY BAD design. Bottom of support needs tape on it or else it scratches your tractor. Support needs to be redesigned, there are other existing places on the tractor that the cab support could attached, to get rid of this problem. I contacted department manager and showed him the problem. He agreed it was a problem and he would contact manufacturer about it and would get back to me - no responce. I went to store again and was told he was not in yet but would call me when he got in that day, I left may phone number and name again. Still waiting. Would I buy another one - I don't think so. Would I recommend it to a friend? I would tell them my feelings about it and let him deside for himself . It is a good idea but needs work to make it better.
