I put this on my 2006 LT1000 which I use with snowblower. The mounting hardware which supposed to be "universal" did not fit the hole pattern on my tractor. It does keep snow and wind off you most of the time, too bad you can't drive into wind all the time. Clips that hold it in place keeps moving, the left hand controls for the snowblower does not operated easily in the cab. My BIG PROBLEM with the unit on my DYS4500 is you can not engage the snowblower... review »

wishing to find a older style metal snow cab

this plastic cab is just what it looks like it does keep the wind off you .I did put a clear piece of plastic on the back ,yes it helps BUT you better have your waterproof foot gear on and you better think how your going to get the snow off the plastic windsheld, but for $239. it will do until I find something better.

Can't Beat the Price

I have a GS6500 tractor w/ the 48" snow blower attachment. The Snow Cab is great, as for quality, I think it's as good as can be, the material is durable enough for what it is intended. I don't have to put on my bib pants anymore and as a senior citizen, I enjoy clearing the driveway again. I've even added an amber dome light to it for safety and a piece of clear vinyl to cover the back. GREAT ECCESSORY.

i live in Colorado i have had it for a month and no problems it would be better if the back was covered too. i just hung a piece of plastic. you can 'like all sears stuff buy parts on line the cab is 139.99 and you can buy all the hardware piece by piece. with the cab on my GS 6500 and 48" dozer blade , chains, and my 280lbs , snow is no problem. yarddog61 colo.

Buying a second one for a gift

This is our second year with the cab and during the wind and the blowing snow this cab does the trick. I am buying one for my sons tractor for Christmas. It also keeps the snow off when its not in use. I recomend this to anyone who loves his tractor.

there cheap made. they rip easy and you can't just buy the plastic to replace it, you have to buy the whole darn frame and all. just another scam to get you to spend more from sears.
