I have been a Sears customer for years and I must say that these work pants dont seem to fit as well as my older ones. They seem to wash up well and are sturdy as I wouldn't want them any heavier or they would be stiff and bulky. The one major downfall is the fasteners.  Out of three pair one has already...

My husband, unfortunately, wears a size 33 pant. These pants, as badly as he wanted them because of the little side pocket, in size 34 were horribly too long in the crotch. They hung down at least 4 inches between his legs.  He has had to buy 34 pants in other brands and they fit fine. He is a very...

Craftsman Pants

Please bring back the Die Hard brand work pants! The fit on the Craftsmans are very uncomfortable, much to tight in the thighs to work in comfortably unless you buy a waist size at least couple sizes bigger!! The fit and durability of the old Die Hards were unbeatable, so great I had stopped wearing jeans for over ten years. Now I'm back to wearing jeans all the time when I'm not at work.

good pants, lousy pockets

These work pants are fairly good, and have a useful utility pocket on the leg perfect for a cell phone - but the pocket material does not stand up to the wear and tear from the "stuff" that the average working guy carries in his pockets. If you are calling them workpants make sure that each part of them is made to the same standard of sturdy construction.

When I bought these pants they were a replacement for my "Dickies" workpants but they failed the test of time. The pocket gave out right after the 2 year guarantee gave out. I would not recommend these pants.

The pants look so good and the material seems pretty well put together. HOWEVER the button has fallen off of two pairs of the pants already and they were purchased about a month ago and are only used for dress slacks.

I LOVE the old Roebuck work pants. They were perfect in every way. Unfortunately these new Craftsman brand pants are terrible and NOT a replacement for the Roebucks. The material is not as good, the construction is not as good, and the fit is not as good. Plus they don't have the little watch/coin pocket which was always good to stick a key and a few extra bucks into.

The old Roebuck pants were one-of-a-kind. The material was not too heavy (but still sturdy), they resisted stains, they came out of the dryer wrinkle-free, and they were so nice you could wear them out on a date (as long as they were...

I wish I could say these pants are perfect, but they're not. They're darn close, but they do have one weakness. First, though, the good stuff:

Teflon means easy clean-up

Good fit

Durable material

Good-looking

Comfortable

Cell phone pocket is very convenient

Now, the weakness: the fastener. The fastener on these pants tends to wear out and break off. It's unfortunate, because otherwise these pants are completely amazing. Still, a pretty good value for the money. The fastener is the cause for a deducted star.

awesome pants

good quality superior comfort.. don't listen to some of the other guys' reviews.. they are fine and are meant for hard use of wear and tear.. i will be buying a second pair fairly soon... i hope craftsman will continue making these for a long time..

Have had 5 or 6 pair now. had to return all of them... wrong/mislabeled sizes/ hook and eye fall off// zip-fly breaks on just about all that i have had.. they did fit good.. when i got the right size! i do like the side pocket and they did not fade much in the wash for me. thought craftsman was good stuff ?? where is this junk comeing from anyway ?? hope this helps..

excellent

These are the workpants of choice for my job. They are subjected to the harshest of conditions. I have been using them exclusively for the past 5 years. With an average of 1 wash per week, these pants have a lifespan of 1 1/2 - 2 years before zipper and tab problems develop. For $100, 5 pairs of these pants will easily last one calender year.

I like 'em

Good quality at a good price. I really appreciate them being a blend and not 100% cotton. Mine have not faded, wash easy, and have not shrank like do all cotton pants. I like them much better than Dickies. Mine are tagged relaxed fit and the item displayed here says regular fit. Don't know if it is the same but the room in the relaxed fit allows for comfortable bending. I'm buying more.

Very Disappointed

My husband has purchased his work pants from Sears for many years and this is the first time we have regretted it. We ordered 6 pair of these pants the same size of course and only 4 of them actually fit the same. I returned those 2 to the Sears store and was told by the clerk that "it didn't matter" that they were sized wrong. The material is horrible. It has a fuzzy texture which holds dirt and comes out of the dryer wrinkled. My husband hates how the pockets are sewn in because they hold his keys on the front of his leg which is uncomfortable. He has only worn them about 3 times each and they... read full review »

Unsatisfied and Disappointed

To start off I want to say, PLEASE bring back the old Roebucks back. The new Craftsman twill shirts and twill pants give Craftsman a bad name. I work in a factory as a diecaster and my twill shirts and twill pants get full of grease alot. I purchased the black ones and they faded after the first wash and the seams from the waist came undone. Also one thing that these Craftsman twill pants don't have is the full fit size. I am a guy that has real big thighs and the pants fit tight. I have to go a size bigger for them to fit, but then I have to use a belt for them to fit from the waist. I feel very... read full review »

Twice my reviews haven't been published so in breif: bad material, mostly cotton. Shrinks THREE inches in length. 7 pairs bought FIVE were defective. Fades after one or two washes.

1 star

i had to get new work pants and naturally went to sears. i could not find any of the roebucks work wear at three different sears stores and ended up buying the craftsmen brand.what a mistake. after only one machine wash, the color faded and the pants lost its shape in the legs. i was really disapointed in the quality and now have to go shopping again after i return the craftsmen pants.it will not be for craftsmen workwear.what happened to roebucks pants?
