I've owned a pair of Craftsman overalls for over a year now and I'm buying another pair now. I work at the railroad and these overalls are perfect for my environment because of their toughness and durability. Unlike Dickies the shoulder clasps don't break and the overalls don't shrink after washes. I... read full review »

Craftsman Work bBib Overalls

Well I guess it tells you something when the default checkmark for these is that the Clasp is prone to breakage. I have bought a couple pair of these at about the same time and had a problem with the clasp within two months. Sears did an excellent job taking care of the problem and sent a replacement...

Craftsman Work Bibs

Comfortable fabric and good fit. Clasps prone to break and recommend upgrading to higher quality ones.

cheap hasps

The current style of Craftsman Overall hasps is weak and highly prone to failure. The bottoms of the thin, crimped metal hasps flex and then break apart - hard to wear overalls that won't stay up from around your ankles. The prior style would outlast the denim, but no longer. I strongly urge you to do as I do - save your receipt and the 2 year guarantee card that comes with them - you will then get your money back and in effect wear them for free. I then buy another couple of pairs, and plan on returning them when THOSE hasps break. The overalls are fine otherwise, I like the softness of pure cotton... read full review »

I bought two pair of these. They are comfortable, soft and seem to be well put together. However after getting them home and wearing them I found a couple of problems. First the fly is way too high from the crotch. (about nine inches from inseam.) This isn't a problem until you have to go. Then you have to almost take them off. The next problem is that the gallis clasps slip and in a days time must be adjusted a couple of times. I guess a couple of stitches could fix this problem. Still not bad for the price.

I was very dissapointed in these bibs , I thought with the name Craftsman on them that they would be better than the ones I normally buy ,(Liberty), but they are not , they are very light weight and are designed in a way thay makes them uncomfortable to wear.

I know this seem very strange review and anyone who needs this clothing item for WORK won't appreciate this, but when my 21yr old son visiting from college the last weekend of Oct, mentioned he needed BONUS POINTS for his Monday morning class, Halloween, Oct 31, 2011.    If he could dress "in character" for an interview in class, anything he chose, he'd get bonus credit. His "character?"  MARIO (that is "SUPER MARIO" of Nintendo fame) and the critical part of the costume was DENIM BIB OVERALL.

Great! Class was at 9a on Monday.  He flies in Fri evening, we're busy all Sat day & evening, means...

Electrician's Uniform

As an electrician, I wear bibs. They are most comfortable to wear with a tool belt for the construction trades. The bib pockets are good for pencils and notes. The bib over your chest helps provide shock and arc flash protection. In the summer they evaporate sweat. Bibs should be part of an electrician's PPE, and always worn with the hard hat for skilled trades.

Shoulder straps

The buckles on the shoulder straps are only crimped together with a cap over the open end at the bottom of the hook loop, unlike the way they used to be welded together within the actual strap fold. The cap came loose with 3 months of less than normal wear.

Strap clasp

The third time I wore them the strap clasp came apart. I was suprised to see it was only clamped in place as there could be some forces at work there. I re clamped it but keep a close eye on it now. Very comefortable to wear.

Pretty good overalls

I overall like these overalls, they do fit well and feel good to wear. The stap adjustment works ok, but could be a lot better. Also the clasp that holds the straps are a little week, I had one broke after about a year of wearing. For the price these are a good buy.
