Crash (Widescreen) —
I wasn't sure what to expect out of this movie. All I had heard was that it was a "sleeper" movie that had won an Academy Award for Best Picture, and my son had seen it and raved about it. So, I bought it and was extremely impressed by not only the acting, but also by the storyline itself, the way that each character was somehow connected to the other. Sandra Bullock did such a good job--I had never seen her play that kind of character before; it was refreshing to see her in such a different role. Matt Dillon was excellent and did a great job of portraying his character's feelings and actions. This movie really makes you think about how people are treated and the reasons they may have for their behavior at any particular moment. It is not just an entertaining movie, but it is very well done and thought-provoking, as well.
