We have a Sonic Drive In right across the street so we have the kids walk over there once in awhile and get something. Sonic is pretty pricey so we don't usually get their food. But they have AWESOME drinks. I am partial to the slushes.
They have a wide range of slush flavors. You can get add ins also. Like you can get a grape slush with lemon. They also have cream slushes. You pick one of their flavors and then they mix in a cream to it. I had never got it before becuz it didn't really sound good. Like a grape slush with cream? Hmm But today Matt wanted to go and get something there as we're stuck at home waiting for our car to be repaired. I told him to pick up a lemon slush for me, expecting him to get the REGULAR lemon slush. He came home with the lemon cream slush. I didn't know if I would be able to drink it or not. I had gastric bypass so I can't have dairy as I am now lactose intolerant. I can't handle a lot of sugar either. He brought home a small (which is still pretty big). I drank the whole thing without any problem.
And the taste? TOTALLY FABULOUSLY OUTSTANDING! It is creamy, it is sweet, and it stays slushy the whole way thru it. It almost tastes like a fruity milkshake but with a slushy consistency instead of the heavy milkshake consistency. Now that I've tasted this, you'll probably never get me to drink milkshakes anymore (if I ever get to the point I can). I'll want CREAM SLUSHES! Boy am I glad now that Sonic is across the street. LOL
