My husband and I had been searching for this particular Crosley recorder for almost a month.  We wanted this particular recorder because of the ability to record my grandfather and father's symphonic albums to CDs.  I found it on Sear's Website and we were extremely happy that it was also on sale. ...

This product has manufacturing problems. We got our first one at the store; returned it and they did not have any others in stock so we ordered online; had to return it also to a store 100 miles from us as both had the same issue. The third one, which we have, also has the same problem but once we... read full review »

the crosley turntable is well built with high quality wood construction. The machine presents a fine addition to most home furnishings. The Crosley is easy to use, considering I am easily frustrated with complicated instructions, when simple solutions should be used.

What a GREAT purchase!!!

I was hesitant about purchasing an "antique" record player when so much more modern equipment is available.  Am I glad that I finally made the decision to go ahead!  I had numerous old vinyls inherited from my Mother which had not been played for 30 or more years and now I am giving them all much needed exercise.  I don't think that anyone who is the least bit nostalgic will regret purchasing one of Crosley's players.  They are well made and look just great.  I know that I have thoroughly enjoyed my purchase so far.

I was able to reformat old 78's onto CD to listen to in other venues, ie auto, friend entertainment center. Cassette player does not have auto shutoff on RW or FF so user needs to monitor use. the Aux input is for playback only from other MP3 or players. cannot make a CD from this input. I purchased to reformat reel to reel and 8-track audio onto CD, but was not able to do this from aux input. I was able to make a cassette copy into another cassette recorder and place cassette into crosley unit and make a CD in this manor. In order to seperate tracks on CD user must monitor recording as it is being...

I bought this for my husband for his birthday.  We love it.  It doesn't have a bose sound but it does have good sound.  I am having a blast pulling out all the old albums and listening to them.  The cd's obviously have great sound.  The radio picks up some stations but not all.  It looks great in my family room.  I would have to say it was a great buy.

Great Price

I purchased this item for a friend and he loves it. To be able to place all his vinyl records and cassettes on cd was wonderful. The price was awesome. I wish there was an extended warranty.

Still a great brand!

I recently purchased the Crosley Director CD Recorder. I have seen all sorts of these record players pop up all over the place and I finally decided to buy one. I have an old, old original Crosley tabletop radiothat still works! So needless to say, I new exactly which brand I was going to purchase. It's been so long since I have listened to my old vinyl, but it still sounds exactly the same as I remember it. All of the features work great and I have even burned my first cdvery simple! I would definitely recommend this productyou can't go wrong with Crosley.

The Crosley old fashion looking stereo is a compliment to any living room or den.  It's has the look of an antique yet it's gorgeous.  Unlike the newer style stereo of today, this stereo when you look at it, will remind you of the days of bobbie socks, flair skirts, boys with that neat hair cut, dressed totally different than today's styles and the days at home with mom, dad and others in your household when you were growing up enjoyng the sound of the great singers and musicians of that time.  Memories that makes you smile and wonder, where did those good old days go.

I bought this for my husband's birthday (although was a great gift for me as well).  We had a decent collection of albums (from when we were teens) in our basement.  I purchased this one because of the ability to record albums and cassetts to CD.  It works great.  Very easy to  use.  I actually had tears in my eyes listening to the first album we played.  The sound is good and would recommend this to anyone who has a record collection.  Also, nice to know it's made in the good old US

AMAZING!

I bought this player during the black friday sale.  I was looking for something that looks nice and can play everything too. I was sick of having to have a seperate device for everything, I had a record player, cd player, zune dock etc.  Here I was able to put it all together and it made everything so much easier! Plus the sound is pretty good, and overall it just looks good! I would recommend this as an excellent gift for someone who likes the modern forms of music but also likes to listen to the classic vinyls! It was a buy I won't regret because it was amazing! Overall it is also very easy...
