I bought this coffee grinder as a gift for my husband as he enjoys freshly ground coffee and we had no way to grind coffee before hand. I'm not much of a coffee drinker myself so I personally don't get any use out of it but I just love how easy it is to clean out afterwards with the removable bowl as I'm the one who does the dishes (he does the cooking hehe).
Also, since I don't drink coffee he doesn't use all of the ground beans all at once so the ability to store the beans for a later date is another huge plus! I was originally going to get a grinder that was cheaper but when I saw these two...
read full review »I love my cuisinart coffee grinder for it's sleek design and power to fine grind coffee beans. I enjoy the fresh coffee ground aroma and the wonderful flavor. Sears had a great price on this product too!
Before I bought this coffee grinder I made just regular old coffee day after day. Then I bought this grinder and realized how much different coffee tastes when you grind it right before you brew it!!
I make freshly grinded/brewed coffee every day now. And I even buy different flavors and brands. This is the best coffee grinder I ever had. It has fine, medium, and course level. And hold us to 18 cups!!
What else could be better??
Nothing!! I love Cuisenart Coffee Grinder!!
I bought this for Christmas for my boyfriend. It's a great tool for coffee, but not for spices. The blades are too high for spices.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">I have used the grinder about five times now, and I have discovered a new problem every time I've used it. The first time, I tried a small amount of beans, and the grind consistency was horrible - some very fine pieces mixed with large chunks. No matter how many times I continued to grind, it didn't improve. So the second time, I tried filling the cup to the "max" line. When I ground the coffee this time, it spilled over the edges of the cup and ended up all over the place. So now I only fill it about halfway, and that seems to work ok, although the grind... read full review »
I purchased this coffee grinder despite its 'Bad' reviews. Though I was skeptical while buying this product, I still went ahead buying it 'cos of one reason - its grinder bowl is 'detachable.' The very first time I used it I was happy! The more I use it the more I feel how wrong the reviews were about this product.
This is "NOT" a messy grinder as stated by others. The sensable thing would be, not to remove its lid till you think you are done grinding. Simple.
The other most common complaint was that, its too Noisy. Tell me, which grinder does not make any sound? If you have sensitive ears please...
I bought this cuisinart coffee grinder a few months ago and have been using it for grinding coffee as well as spices. It is very quiet and has noit given me any problems so far. It is easy to cleanas well. I would certainly recommend a frined to buy this.
Purchased this product for the brand name. I have been very satisfied with everything I purchased under this brand. The grinder is great. I like my coffee beans fresh ground and this has proven to be dependable, nice looking, easy cleanup. Does an even ground which is the reason I was looking for a new machine. The last one did not do even grinding and I was picking whole beans out of the grounds to my dismay. This is a durable product that should last a long time
