This is one of the more expensive models on the market, so you would think with all the features they could have at least made it easier to clean and not quite so loud! The grinder is so loud that you will jump out of your skin if you decide to set the morning timer (I'm awake now!). And if that wasn't bad enough, the machine has an obnoxious continuous beep indicating it ha finished brewing! Is that really necessary?

On the WOW side, this is a beautiful appliance and the insulated pot will keep your coffee hot for hours!

I've owned this model of Grind and Brew for over a year now. Its a great buy. I've had several Grind and Brews, but this one has been the most dependable and makes an excellent coffee. It has by far out-lasted all the others I've used. I wash the coffee pot & lid, the lid to the grind basket, and the gold basket daily. I've only had a problem with the chute clogging up one time. I can safely say, this was attributed to user [my] error. I'm fairly certain I caused moisture to get into the chute when I accidentally spilled some water on the top lid of the bean holder as I was pouring it into the water reservoir. The water I spilled on the top lid of the coffee beans probably slid along the sides and leaked under the bean holder. Of course the moisture is going to cause any grinded coffee to kind of cement. I handle this by using a jug with a sprout for pouring water now ; ) I don't feel its too much work to clean this coffee Brew and Grind occasionally,...

This makes the best coffee and I'm a coffee snob. However, you have to clean it often. It's the price to pay. I love that the grinder is attached and not something separate to leave on your counter. Once you start drinking fresh ground and fresh brewed coffee, you'll never go back to buying anything but whole bean again.

We bought this machine and within a week we were bringing it back. The shoot that drops the ground coffee into the basket clogs up if you do not clean it DAILY. For the price of this machine, it should be MUCH less effort. It is certainly not worth the price or time it takes to make coffee. When it does make coffee the taste is not consistent each time. Get yourself a little Mr. Coffee for $20 bucks and buy ground beans... you will have better tasting coffee with alot less hassle and for less money than this piece of junk....

I clean the chute daily and it still gets clogged so I make coffee without the grinder and line up the arrows but it still keeps spinning. This coffee pot is junk. Save your money and your mind...

I bought thiis coffee maker after my last bit the dust. I am very happy with it. It does not take a rocket scientist to clean it or operate it. It is easy to clean-just empty the basket and wash it out. Replace it in the machine and push 2 buttons. Waking up to the smell of freshly made coffee in the morning is outstanding. The only one small problem with it is that the grinder is noisy, other than that I am very happy with it. If you love the taste of freshly ground coffee waiting for you in the morning this is the one to get....

I like this coffee maker with a few exceptions. First of all lots of parts to keep clean. Next the biggest draw back is the two arrows you must line up each time you put the coffee ground holder back in the machine. If you don't have the arrows lined up tomorrow morning you have a counter full of water and no coffee either. This was a bad conceptual flawed idea considering most people that get up in the morning are half asleep anyway. I bought this coffee maker to replace the last Cuisinart brew master I bought. I only had it for 18 months. The water would not completely leave the reservoir on that one so mold will build up after several days of non-use. These things are pricey and should be built to last much longer then 2 years. Unfortunately they are not. I will find another brand after this one fails....

initially I thought WOW! this will meet my needs as far as clean up goes. We've only had this product for a few weeks and already its not grinding. I clean out the grinder add the beans and then the bean holder won't lock down. It took me over an hour figure out why it wouldn't lock down and not even 3 day later again its not grinding. I made this purchase to lesson my clean up time not add more time. I like Cuisinart but this product is not worth the money I paid....

I've had this bad boy for 2 weeks now and have to say I'm so glad I went for the best that was offered! It's so nice to have everything in one. It's so simple to operate too. Just pour in the beans, the water, select how many cups you're making and the strength you desire and push the ON button! The coffee is awesome! And cleanup is just as easy! I just rinse the grind basket and pop it back into the little door and it's ready for the next brew! It has some other nifty features that I've yet to read about, but should be really easy to figure out. This coffeemaker also looks great in the kitchen!...

I had the machine for all of a week. So far it does exactly what it was designed to do and does it well. Further, there is no messy coffee grind mess to clean up as with separate bean grinders. It is easy to clean and to reassemble after use. It appears much more substantial than other Cuisinart grind & brew machines and looks great on our counter. So far... soo good!...
